Intelligence

Most creative intelligence consists in imagining, and most imagining consists in allowing.

Broward County

This is old school, Boss Tweed, Daley Senior stuff. Perhaps it is useful reminding America where the modern Democrats came from.

Voter Fraud

2 more comments: Election fraud, in a national election, needs to be a Federal offense.  It affects our national government.  It crosses State lines.  The vote of Sinnema, or however you spell this cheaters last name, could determine if a judge gets confirmed or not.  It could be the deciding vote on a close vote for a new law.  It affects all of us.  So it is not just a matter for that State.  This needs to be a national offense, investigated by the FBI (if it is not already: I am pontificating, possibly, but I don’t think, from a position of ignorance.  Every prosecution I have seen was local).

And I do think this is already the case, but the RICO Act allows groups to be prosecuted, when the crime was clearly coordinated.  We won’t be able to go after the national Democrats this way, but I do think local groups in many States could likely be locked up.  And it would only take one or two to deter most from even thinking about trying to steal elections in the future.

It is possible all this is working to the best.  We are seeing, right in front of very bright lights, patent fraud taking place in multiple locations.  The Democrats will scream their usual things, but the political evidence is sufficient for Trump to do things like create a national election commission which, perhaps, studies the voting systems in other countries, and makes recommendations which the Democrats will oppose, and which Trump can skewer them for opposing, since their opposition is ludicrous.

He needs to point out the racism inherent in saying black people are too fucking stupid to get drivers licences or at least ID’s.  He needs to get a stage full of black people and ask them: are you this stupid?  And they can all show their ID’s, and tell the Democrats to go fuck themselves.  They can tell the Democrats to stop acting like they are helpless children, which is what the Democrats patently do.

Communism

I watched a movie yesterday–I have sort of made Saturdays my movie days–called Persepolis.  It is the adaptation of a comic book (she said she prefers comic book) written by a woman who saw the Iranian Revolution first hand, who lived through some of the bombings of Tehran by the Iraqis, and who was harassed and abused by the Revolutionary Guards in many ways at various times.

Her uncle was a Communist, who had apparently allied with the Communists in Azerbaijan in an effort to subvert Iran.  This part is glossed over in the movie.  What I read is that Azerbaijan was a “member” (conquered nation) state of the Soviet Empire by 1920.  The Soviets wanted, and got, the oil.

The Soviets also wanted Iran as a whole.  The Russians had invaded and subdued the Iranians before, in two wars, in 1804-1813 and again 1826-1828.  Georgia and Azerbaijan were once a part of Iran.

Thus, the threat of a Communist takeover through Mossadegh was not a fantasy.  They wanted Iran’s oil, and they wanted a warm water port.

And as the protagonist points out in the movie, where the Shah had 300 political prisoners, the Mullocracy had 3,000, most of whom were eventually executed.  Everything got worse under the Mullahs.  Had the Shah stayed in power, eventually international pressure would have liberalized everything.  America backed the right side, although I will not excuse our arming both sides in the Iran-Iraq War.  What an ugly thing.  War is ugly, and the war business even worse.

The point I wanted to make, though, was twofold: 1) virtually every repression in every nation in the entirety of the 20th century was the outcome, direct or indirect, of Communist efforts to create a global imperial regime.  When Pinochet performed a coup and executed thousands, it was to prevent a Communist takeover.  When right wing death squads operated in El Salvador, it was to prevent a Communist take-over.

Nearly every civil war in nearly every nation the entire planet over was the result of Communist efforts at global conquest.  Even World War 2 could not be imagined if Hitler had not had the Bolshevik menace in Germany to create a reaction to.

Arab Terrorism, even, was the result of a policy of the Communists to use Israel as a means for generating a wedge between the Arab nations and the United States.  They used careful, long term, and well planned propaganda to stir up ethnic and national hatreds which had been dormant for a long time, and provided the training in terrorism to make such activities effective.

In my mind, I can see no conflicts which did not involve Communists.  Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Korea, Laos, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Angola, Guatamala, El Salvador, Chile, Argentina, Cuba, Greece, Iran, Hungary, Czechoslavakia,  World War 2.  Perhaps the Indian War of partition, which was the fault of the British.  OK: granted the 1948 War of Israeli existence.

This however brings me to point 2: Communism, as a global imperialistic enterprise, really cannot be seen separately from the British colonial period.  The British invaded everywhere in the whole freaking world.  There is a difficult Sporcle quiz: name the 22 modern nations the British have not invaded.

As one example, I thought surely to God they never invaded Iceland: I was wrong.

It is significant that Marx wrote his work in London, at the height of British power and hubris.  I have never read Das Kapital, and have no plans to, but psychologically it is difficult not to think that Marx had in mind a way to bring down the British, specifically, and that much of the emotional underpinning of the exhortations to resist “Capitalistic aggression” and to support–for a time, until you realized what was really going on–the “People’s” aggression, was the knowledge so many nations had of being trodden on and used by the British.  It was a very wide pool of players to manipulate.

But I will comment that Marjane’s uncle–to return to the movie–Anoosh, continued to believe until his death that one day the “Proletariat will rule”.  With Communism, the Proletariat NEVER EVER EVER rules.  In Russia, when Lenin executed his coup and won his civil war, there hardly was a proletariat.  It was less than 10% of the population, and that population never did anything but work and die when he and his successors said so.

Communism is a hook.  It is a hook which appeals to real problems, real abuses, and which became skilled early on at enlisting sympathy, pathos in general, and the outrage of good people, all to be subverted, serpent-like, to new, worse rulers.  It is a creed of the Lie.  Communists are People of the Lie, to use M Scott Pecks term.  You cannot not be a sociopath and be a sincere Communist.  There is no other option.

When we see Communist flags in America, the sentiment behind it exists at the comic book level, but people also thought of Hitler as Charlie Chaplin.  We need to assess the threat as real, because the evil history behind that symbol ruined countless lives, and continues to immiserate a billion or more in China to this day.  To be sure, they seem to be building shopping malls, and theme parks to Americanize their people enough to hypnotize them into sleep, but the reality is that they are moving pieces to be manipulated at will by an invisible and omnipotent hierarchy, and that for every shopping mall, there is a place in hell in their Laogai.

China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos: all ruled by gangsters vastly more corrupt than Al Capone.

A national election commission

Trump needs to appoint a national election commission which makes clear recommendations which the Democrats can then reject.

Trump also needs to create a standing voter fraud task force in the DoJ which operates continually, and which eventually becomes a force to be feared by the Democrats, in their continual efforts to get by cheating what they can’t get through ideas, integrity, and ability to do good things for their constituents.

And I think things have progressed far enough that he can safely ignore what the media says.  Most future battles will be fought in courts.  The people who listen to Bill Maher are stupid.  They cannot be made intelligent, now.  It’s the people in the middle, the people who might be MAD that the Democrats stole their election from them, who matter.

The forces of truth and honesty remain the majority in this country.  Democrats cannot any longer win honest elections, not in aggregate.  This is an important development.

And I continue to wonder if Obama stole the election in 2012 from Romney.

A sense of place

I periodically have these dreams where I stayed on at the University of Chicago.  I would very much like to say that I have a Ph.D from there, but the fact is I did not want to do the work.  I got tired of smelling like old books, which by and large smelled to me like irrelevancy.

And I was right, of course: nothing I could have done there would have made much of a difference.  Nothing I have done since has made much of a difference either, but at least I can pursue varied paths at will, like a dog on a scent, and I do think the scent of relevancy is getting hot.

But last night I was dreaming of the gorgeous scenery outside the school: the mountains and streams (which of course don’t exist: it is a highly urban campus, which when I was there was suffering the inevitable effects of long term Democrat governance, most notably an exceptionally high crime rate despite the largest private university police department in the country; I personally heard one shooting, and another happened a block from my place at 3pm), the colors of fall.

I spent yesterday reading Wendell Berry, and everything I touch rubs off on me, and much of it winds up in my dreams.  I feel everything.  I can’t process everything, which is why I have to dissociate, but I feel everything.  It is mine to reject, consciously or unconsciously.  I am very sensitive.

And so I had in my dreams the comparison of a classroom, where we might have been attending a lecture on the medieval Hindu Bhakti movement, and a world outside of light and movement.  And it became obvious to me the world outside was the better teacher, but that fear kept me inside the classroom with so much less to offer.

Here is what I would like to propose: a sense of place is a foundational element in Goodness.  Morality is what we choose to do.  Goodness is what comes naturally.  And when we are relaxed, when we feel a sense of belonging, when we don’t need to justify our existence or our presence in any way–as we so often do in the modern world (I will note that to call this the result of “Capitalism” is ludicrous and patently superficial to the point of farce, and that a great deal of modern anomie comes from REMEDIES, so called, to “Capitalism”)–then we are naturally open, naturally kind, naturally friendly, in the ways which Lao Tse described over two millenia ago.  Nothing needs to be taught.  There is no need for wise men, outside of the transmission of a healthy cultural tradition.

True Goodness is impossible in conditions of chronic tension.

Tension is the enemy–chronic tension in any event.  And what does our media build?  The Walking Dead?  Stranger Things?  And what does porn build but frustration, by and large?   You can’t masturbate enough to equal love.  Everything all around us, the economic desperation made inevitable by our diluted money supply, our media, and ideas we are taught, such as YOLO and fuck everyone else, and that salvation can be found by voting Blue:  all of this works to build monsters, and that is what we are building.

My planning and work continue.  I have some new things I am going to try, and will advise.

What is needed

to generate a sane political climate in this country, is for a morality to be developed, for the post-religious, outside of politics.

Their creed is their vote, and their vote, reliably, is for worse and worse.  They cannot stop.  They cannot help it.  They have nothing else.  They need something else.

What they have is worse than nothing.  But they can’t see this, because you cannot see the outside of the box if you have lived in it all your life.

Life is a mountain

I recently reached a ledge in my long climb.  I rested a moment, and I can now see the next stage in my journey.

There is no down in life, in my view.  It is all climb.  Every day for the rest of my life I want to express life force in the world, to create something, to think something, to feel something.  I want to push on the world, and let the world push on me, until we are rocking happily together in some useful or pleasurable (which often amount to the same thing) activity.

There will come a day when God says you can climb no more on this Earth.  Then I will climb somewhere else. This is not, in my view, ambition: it is life.

Life

Not infrequently, God closes one door, opens two, closes one, opens another one, closes the first, closes a window you didn’t even know was there until it was gone, installs a revolving door which you circle a couple times before you figure it out, and then it is closed again, but a sliding glass door is open.  Etc.

Nothing is less confusing to me than how people get confused by life.

I will add, and this is actually a very important point, that everyone who is alive–who has not committed suicide–is in some form of equilibrium.  It is very often an equilibrium which involves self deception, self medication in some form, and frequent ups and downs, but which more or less “works”.  And when you try to “fix” what is working, you risk upsetting everything.

Change has to align with the circle of your equilibrium.  You need to alter its trajectory gradually, without undoing the things you didn’t know were holding up you don’t know what.

Don’t gulp.  Not where you are concerned.  And don’t pounce where others are concerned.  Feed a hint here and there.  A positive attitude (if you can manage it, honestly) and a kind word here and there are about the best you can hope for where most people are concerned.  Anything more: let them ask you.

This is a new idea and thought pattern for me.  I am afraid I have hurt a lot of people trying to help them, although I think in most cases they retreat instinctively before I have a chance.  I’m the emotional repair men from Brazil. That’s a bit exaggerated, but not as much as I would like.

I don’t know what all I don’t understand, but it is a LOT. I keep trying to get a little better day by day, and I seem to be making glacially slow, but real, progress.

Imagine

Imagine a scenario where Trump is impeached and removed from office on bogus charges that cannot be made to stick in s criminal court and then he RUNS AGAIN AND WINS AGAIN.
