I had physical hiding spaces when I was young. I would go into the attic and a particular closet and the basement.
But the one you carry with you is where you were pushed to. You flee in fear, emotionally and eventually find somewhere they can’t get to you. This is a happy discovery. But this place too has walls, and if you never leave you never return to the life you left.
But if we use a chess metaphor, as he did in discussing Hillary hiring a discredited, conniving fellow bitch, then play it out. If Trump wins he’s fine. If Hillary wins the first thing she will do is figure how to shut hi down. She can prosecute anyone publishing or even talking about illegally obtained documents. She can shut down alternative media by labeling it hateful, especially if she can engineer her fire in the Reichstag.
And she is patient and very very vindictive. However he plays this from now on he has a permanent bullseye on his head. She waited years to get her revenge on Gaddafi, but she did (in InfoWars today they reported a peace treaty was already negotiated, but she nixed it out of personal spite. The entire region burned to satisfy the hatred of this woman.
Assanges only hope of living to older age and eventually leaving his de facto prison is a Trump Presidency. Trump is a deal maker and may well reward the help rendered. If Hillary is elected, nowhere will be far enough or secure enough.

I noticed I haven’t seen one in a while, and it looks like at Salon anyway her last one was in June. I wonder if after the Bernie revelations she has taken a turn for the, oh I don’t know, the “reeducation ready”.
If Salon does not want to publish her, how can we guess what she has to say? She is smart, feisty and independent. Other than the first, when combined with cynicism and amorality, those are not valued traits on the Left.

And here is the interesting part (I may have posted on this before, but it seems reasonable to assume that if I can’t remember everything I post, nobody can remember everything I’ve written): when asked “why did you scratch your nose?”, people will come up with reasons. They will say it itched, or that it felt right.
What they will not do, normally, is say “I don’t know”. I don’t know is a very structurally significant informational operator. It gives you the space to evaluate. It can cause you to look for information which at the moment is hidden.
This basic dynamic–this STORY, to be clear–was a watershed moment of sorts for me. As I know I have written, some wise man (or woman) once wrote that most people have two reasons for doing things: the one they offer, and the real one.
And what is worth underscoring is that the real one may not be apparent even to them. It may never become apparent in this life. It will operate as an invisible planet with gravitational force, but which always intrudes in ways which cannot be understood, and which appear random.
That will suffice for now. More Harvey Wallbangers tonight. Why? Well, I can guess, but I would be lying if I said I FULLY understand what lies between me and reducing the intake of calories from alcohol, and between me and a night without lots of unpleasantness.
I understand the need to walk into hell, but I wish hell would stop walking into me. I’ll get this thing done. It will just take time. I am the opposite of fragile: I get stronger the more life fucks with me.
Whatever taxes Trump did or not pay on his personal income, or even the corporate income of his many businesses, he employed thousands of people who DID pay taxes. They paid income tax, and they paid sales taxes and property taxes. He paid property taxes. He paid licensing fees. He paid all the various monies extorted particularly in Democrat havens like New York.
Every large corporation employing lots of people not only pays a great deal in taxes, but by employing those people, they SPEND MONEY in that area, which creates the REALITY that Keynesian economics can only mimic, and only for short periods of time. Of course it is good having people out spending money, but to be sustainable it has to be their own money, and for it to be their own money they have to have jobs.
If you attack those jobs by attacking the employer with higher taxes or more regulations, then you attack prosperity.
If you reward the employer with better business conditions, they expand, they create more jobs, pay more for existing jobs, and the community benefits.
These points are so obvious that a person of average or higher intelligence can only avoid seeing them through the successful lobotomy of Leftist indoctrination.
It is perhaps the case that less truth has often been told in America. But we certainly do not live in an Information Age. What we have accomplished is making more people more wrong with more confidence, and made them more vocal about it.
Without getting into the details of each, I want simply to submit that the war the Left has waged on the family is not a war on the family, per se, but of secure attachment. The goal has been to develop neurotic, anxious, emotionally disorganized people who are the tabula rasas upon which totalitarian memes can be imprinted.
This, today, is what we are seeing in the universities. Kids who are 20 today were born in 1996. If their parents were 25 when they had them, then they themselves were born in 1971. Their parents were fucked up, they bred neurotic kids, and those neurotic kids bred more, but this time with even less parental involvement, as women went to work, TV’s did the parenting, and the media ran the TV’s.
It has always made sense to me that Bill Ayers went into early childhood development. This is the sort of thing he would have figured out.
I watched the cartoons that were on TV when my kids were young, and I refused to let them watch anything but PBS. Spongebob Squarepants I explicitly forbade, because I told them I could feel it sucking intelligence away from me. I could feel it making me stupider. They have actually had conversations with their friends about this, since they remember it, and in point of fact most of their friends who DID watch that show wind up agreeing upon reflection.
What if these cartoons, themselves, are being produced to make our kids stupider?
One has to wonder about a creed so demonic that to achieve its ends it is willing to inflict horrific anxiety and fear on an entire generation, while simultaneously doing everything in their power to diminish them as human beings.
Imagine that such a creed calls itself Humanistic. Imagine that the perpetrators of these crimes invoke words like love and compassion, as indeed the operators of the guillotines in Revolutionary France did.
This is an odd, odd world. I”ll be dead in 100 years. The main question is how I’ll go, and how much of what I am supposed to get done here will actually get done. I am capable of so much more than I am currently able to express. I operate daily with two hands tied behind my back. I am getting better though.
If your food is poorly prepared, is it wrong to send it back? Chef shaming?
If your landscaper does a shitty job mowing your lawn, is it wrong to ask that it be done right? Landscape shaming?

In the second place, we need to understand we are seeing literal efforts at mind control. We are seeing coordinated efforts across nearly all news outlets to shape public opinion in SPECIFIC ways. Trump has done poorly with college educated women, and they are clearly trying to get all these women to simultaneously say “Poor woman!!”‘, and consider Trump a big meany head, despite his many decades of obvious efforts to include women in his organization and offer them opportunities.
And it is ODD to me that people want a woman President, but someone consider it Trumps job to treat her like a lady. Why would the rest of the world do that, and why should Trump do that? Either you are fucking up to the job or you aren’t. Clearly, Hillary is a dragon lady, who has likely ordered, with Bill, the murder of dozens of people. She is not a timid little flower, and it is the height of hypocrisy to say women can do what men can do, but that they should be treated differently.
And Hillary has a LONG history not of calling women Miss Piggy, but threatening them with physical and political and social violence. She started when she psychologically tortured a raped 12 year old girl in order to get a guilty man off virtually scot-free. And it plainly continued as Bill has left a swathe of traumatized women in his wake everywhere he has gone.
