If the shoe were on the other foot–if the corporate propaganda apparatus was pointed in the other direction–how hard would it be to “fact check” mask mandates, especially for children? There is no data backing them, and much data that they cause emotional and social harm. There is almost no benefit–on some accounts active harm even on the metric of slowing the disease–and vast amounts of trauma and social disruption.
How hard would it be to fact check lockdowns? How hard would it be to muster global outrage at, say, what is happening in Australia and New Zealand, if it were politically advantageous to the corrupt assholes running our media?
Not hard at all. Neither are defensible.
