Trump

I spent a good while this morning dreaming about a large corporate client I have worked with quite a bit.

Here is the thing: the economy is growing the way it is ONLY because of Trump, because the business community trusts they have someone in the White House who has their back, who repealed thousands of stupid regulation, rolled back much of Obamacare (the Individual Mandate disappears next year, and that is the enforcement lynch pin), cut taxes, and overall created a pro-growth climate.  Trump has done vastly more in 18 months to help business than Obama did in eight years.  Obama, in fact, spent the bulk of his time criticizing business, criticizing the profit motive, denigrating free enterprise, and growing government at every opportunity, on every pale excuse.

If the goons who are willing to crash the economy to “stop Trump” get their way, they will, in fact, crash the economy.  New hires will be laid off.  Expansion plans will be halted.

And what does it even mean to “stop Trump”?  This is the salient question.  What do they oppose?  Crassness?  Surely that hurts no one but the stupidly oversensitive, and the professionally offended.  His economic policies?  They are working.  The fact that he won the election unfairly?  We have proven that not to be the case.

It is astonishing that large numbers of Democrats, simply through a Goebbelsian repetition of the Big Lie, have come to accept as a commonplace that only through massive Russian interference did their corrupt, lazy, unlikeable bitch of a candidate fail to win the Presidency she so deserved.  This is ludicrous.  This bullshit should fool no one.  We have a production head at CNN saying “we got nothing.  We do this for ratings.”  We have Peter Stzrok saying “there is no there, there”, in the one place where he seemingly felt no need to lie.

And for fucks sake we have a former CIA Director who, more or less on his own account, as we can see now, ADMITS he tried to throw the election, that he used Disinformation (Dezinformasiya) to try and interfere domestically in our political process, which is ILLEGAL, and for obvious reasons.  AND HE KEEPS DOING IT.  This traitor had the audacity to call TRUMP a traitor on the Bill Maher show.

This shit show needs to stop.  Maybe I don’t know the legalities.  Maybe there are factors I am unaware of.  But it would seem to me that senior officials in the government are At Will employees, who can be let go with or without cause at any time for any reason.  You can remove Army officers, can you not?  At a minimum, you can move them from the front line to Alaska or Montana, can you not?

Sessions has been AWOL more or less since he took office.  Where the big questions are concerned, he has done nothing.  He has punted.  He has removed himself from the fray.

I personally don’t see how it could or can get more psychotic.  There has been nothing like this in American history I can think of, with the exception perhaps of the Civil War itself.

And as one article put it, we really only have two parties: the Party of Trump, and the Party of corrupt elites, who exist on both sides of the aisle.  The louder the shrieking, we can assume, the more threatened they feel their fiefdoms are, the more they fear their secrets will be exposed.

These are not my ideas, but Trump should fire Sessions–my gut instinct is he had this conversation with him last week, that if he would not step down he was going to be fired, and Sessions, for reasons apparently of cowardice, chose to be fired.  His psychological motivations–they are not legal motivations, since Mueller walked right in with better reasons to recuse himself than Sessions–remain opaque to me.  I have not studied the man.  I can only guess that he feels, on the one hand, a sense of pride, and on the other an emotional paralysis which prevents him from making decisions likely to cause controversy, or personal attacks on him.  That he is sustaining such attacks anyway seems not to matter.

Rosenstein, who specifically and personally authorized the fishing expedition at Cohen’s, for the naked purpose of digging up dirt on Trump, and nothing else, should be fired.

Mueller should be given until early September, Labor Day I think is what Trump supposed, then asked summarily to present his evidence.  If he won’t do it, then he should be fired.  If the Democrats heads explode: how will we know?   They have exploded so many times already that I have lost count.  If there were any rational brain cells remaining, it seems likely they were destroyed long ago.  We can’t expect more shouting than we already have.  We have been at peak boil for a while. And if they take to the streets, we can too.  They may then realize they are fucking with much more capable people than they are.  This is not a game to us.

And I’ve seen this idea of Trump declassifying data: on himself, on Hillary, etc.  I can’t speak intelligently on this, other than to say I am absolutely in favor of him airing the dirty laundry of the FBI, and doing all he can to expose the crime syndicate linking the CIA, FBI, Department of Justice, the NSA possibly, and anyone else who may be attached.

And I have been calling for a purge for some time.  A decimation.  A ten percent reduction in force, starting with all known hard core Obama supporters who, it can be assumed, are sabotaging things to the extent they can.

America voted for Trump.  I said we were kicking over a beehive, and boy was I right.  This is unbelievable.

Information

I found this quite interesting (I will add, perhaps patronizingly, that a standard line in my home with the kids was that the best way to be interesting is to be interested.  And I must say that by and large they listened to me.  I didn’t come up with that, but I like it.  It’s a sound life philosophy.  Curiosity is good for the brain.): https://www.infowars.com/theres-life-after-google-big-techs-achilles-heel/

(Quoted at length because I don’t feel like editing it).

He explained in an interview with WND that the brilliant entrepreneurs who formed Google, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and other tech innovators have a vision that goes far beyond profits and technological progress, noting they speak of their aims in prophetic and religious terms.
Their ultimate objective is to create a new “system of the world,” Gilder said, in which all of its data is compiled in a single “place” to be analyzed by increasingly sophisticated algorithms that transcend the human mind’s capabilities.
But Gilder contends this “flat-universe theory of materialism” is the fundamental flaw, describing it as a deterministic “neo-Marxist political ideology” that considers the universe sheer matter, ruled by physics and chemistry, leaving little room for human consciousness and creativity.
“Marx essentially believed that humans had solved the problem of production back in the 19th century with the first industrial age, and in the future the challenge would be distributing wealth rather than producing it,” Gilder explained to WND.
I see Google making the same error in the 21st century, imagining they’ve solved the problem of production in the future with robotics and machine learning and artificial intelligence, and in the future the only problem will be redistribution of wealth.”
Gilder said Google’s “arrogance even exceeded Marx, because Marx didn’t imagine that the new technology would eclipse the human mind.”
“But Google imagines that its architecture will achieve a singularity that will eclipse human intelligence,” he told WND, referring to the concept promoted by futurist Ray Kurzweil and others of a technological, artificial “superintelligence.”
“But we shouldn’t mind,” Gilder added in jest, “because we can all leave for the beach and collect a guaranteed annual income while Brin and Page, and Elon Musk fly to other planets in a winner-take-all universe.”

He affirmed that if carried out to its logical conclusion, Google’s future is “dystopian to the extent that they eclipse the creativity of human beings and imagine that essentially their new machines make humans obsolete.”
“They really don’t grasp information theory,” he said, noting it’s a central theme of the Discovery Institute.
“The creation of the universe is really beyond our grasp,” he said. “Intelligent design is just a way to show that the universe is created, and human beings in subsets are creative in imitation of their creator.”
He points to a set of propositions underlying the internet articulated by Claude Shannon, the American mathematician known as the “father of the internet.”
“The computer and all these great information technologies relies ultimately on a definition of information as surprise, as unexpected bits,” Gilder said.
Gilder also cites the 20th century German-born economist Albert Hirschman.
“He said creativity always comes as surprise to us. And if it didn’t, we wouldn’t need it,” said Gilder.
And, Gilder added, if it didn’t, “socialism would work.”

I got to thinking about all this.  If “information” is defined absolutely as the novelty of some new piece of information in a given chain, with 4 in 1 2 3 4 having zero information, and “pink unicorn” in 1 2 3 Pink Unicorn having considerable informational value, then anything which breeds out the unknown and randomness inherently acts to reduce “information”.

And in large measure, this is the Socialist vision, in which chance is bred out of life.  You don’t need to worry about losing your job, because you can’t lose your job.  You also can’t lose your home.  Your health care is paid for automatically.  Your car drives itself to prevent unnecessary accidents.  Your internet protects you from “unsound” ideas.  Your library is digital and sanitized to prevent exposure to unsafe ideas.

If we posit, as I do, that the point of life is learning, and if learning is regularly being exposed to unknown stimuli of all sorts, then the aim of Socialism is to prevent life.

And picture a perfect, hermetically sealed system, with no breaks, no flaws, no Robert de Niro in Brazil: creation is impossible.

I need to go to bed, but in my understanding that Kurt Goedel, or someone applying his ideas, noted that no qualitative novelty can be found within a formally bound system.  Creation must take place outside of it.  Matter itself, it was argued, does not contain enough information to form itself as it manifestly has, which implies something outside the system ordered it into life.

This, by the way, is what I believe.

But applying this to a hermetically sealed Socialist paradise, we come up with the Talking Heads Heaven, where “nothing really happens”.

If you cannot learn without risk, then risk must be introduced in order for learning to happen.  And if risk is introduced, then the system is no longer fully safe.  And if it is no longer fully safe, can we not ask what the original objective was?  Is it to give us more life?  Can we not do that without totalitarian control?

This is all perhaps a bit foggy, as I have had a couple beers, but please consider.

It is my sense that, say, Mark Zuckerberg may, possibly, have within his heart something truly generous.  Maybe he really does want to improve people’s lives.  But the system of control he and Google and others are building can be used by ANYONE.  There were a lot of genuinely good people in the French Revolution.  They were guillotined.  There were genuinely good people around Lenin.  They were shot.  Same with Mao.  Same with Ho Chi Minh.  Same with Castro.  Same in Nicaragua.  Same pretty much everywhere.

If a system which CAN be used for oppression is being built, it is not only reasonable but in my view NECESSARY to assume the worst.  If it is not being abused yet, it will be.  This is the nature of the world, and the nature of human kind as it exists at this moment, and as it has existed, indeed, for all the time recorded in our histories.

Quantum Helicopter

Have I mentioned, perhaps, that I have strange dreams?  I’m going to go with yes.

Last night I dreamed of a quantum helicopter, which was able, somehow, to make a direct connection with the Zero Point Field, and create “lift” from it, like a helicopter does.

Now, the Quantum Vacuum/ZPF is EVERYWHERE.  This is the concept.  Such a vehicle could be used in “empty” space, and could be used within an atmosphere of any sort.  It would depend for its “lift” upon Space which is to be found everywhere we can go, as far as we know.

And it had some sort of gravity cancellation device on it, for the passengers, such that it could easily enter and leave the atmosphere of Jupiter, or even the Sun, if it could handle the temperatures.

And I wonder: if “anti-gravity” cancels out the “gravity thing” (we still don’t really know what gravity is), is there an anti-heat/anti-cold something that could be built?  Could heat be “snuffed” back INTO the Zero Point Field? If we can connect with it, can we take things out of it, and put things back in?    I don’t have a fucking clue what I am talking about–somebody was trying to explain Quantum Tunneling to me the other day, and all I can say is they did not succeed in building a robust understanding–but I have never been afraid to speak even when I have no idea what I am saying.

Biophotons

I came across a fascinating, to me, idea.  The outset was this: https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/ciencia_genetica04.htm

The net is that DNA seems to create lasting field of some sort not yet described, or contemplated by most academic biologists who came of age after the 1930’s or so, at least in this country, which I assume is pretty much everyone working.

Here is the idea: biophotons are coherent, not because light itself is the signalling medium, but because they REFLECT the field, because they interact with the field.  Photons become organized in the same way that iron filings do in the presence of a magnet.  You can’t see the electromagnetic field, but you can see the effects.

So when, for example, Fritz Albert Popp’s people measured coherent light emission from what I will call biological systems, what they were measuring was not light that made the system coherent, but rather a system which made the light coherent.

Unbelievably rich field for research.  This is how we connect life to spirit.  If I am not mistaken, this field is called Quantum Biology.  At least, the research that truly interests me is apparently getting funded under this moniker.

Spiritual Weatlh

I feel good tonight.  It is a beautiful night, nearly full moon, and the air is just humid enough to feel like I am connected to everything.  I feel my sKu.  I feel I am waking up within myself, and waking up within the world.

And it occurs to me that those who have a lot of spiritual wealth have little to lose, and those who have little have much to lose.  It is the opposite of economic wealth.

I have from time to time quoted a Sufi saying to the effect of “A Sufi begs to give you everything he has”.  This is because spiritual wealth doubles in the giving.  If I give you everything, we have both doubled.

And you cannot remain still.  I think this is one hidden meaning of the parable of the talents.  The one poor servant who hides his one talent–afraid he will lose everything–gets yelled at.  I always felt some pity for him, since his decision was not all that irrational.

But spiritually, the more you have, the easier it is to risk, and the greater the reward.  The less you have, the more afraid you are, and the less you risk.  When you risk less, you do not stay the same, you become smaller.  Perhaps the parable should have had the coin shrinking in size while buried.

All of us, I think, have either an expansion or contraction bias.  You can make different decisions in different contexts, but the underlying affective habits and overall Gestalt ultimately will move you bigger or smaller, wiser, or number.

What you want is to feel, deeply and directly, the connections between the movement of the world and the movement within you.  You are of the oceans, and you are the ocean.  There is no need to cry out for the distances: they are already here, all of them.  The gap is always within you, somewhere.

And inherently, an expansion bias is a risk bias.  It is a dance with the unknown.  How could anything which can only be seen through growth BEGIN as a known?  It can’t. Everything which will one day be good must first be a stranger, and at that perhaps a stranger who startles you from the shadows.

And the primary risk I mean is 1) not putting everything into fixed boxes, which creates the risk of confusion and feeling overwhelmed; 2) not shutting down emotions.  You have to allow everything, invite everything, WELCOME everything.  You cannot be defending a fixed conception of yourself.  You have to be willing to not know where things are going, not know what comes next.

Someone else rationalizing/explaining my feelings

https://amgreatness.com/2018/08/24/trump-has-already-won-on-impeachment/

I just feel like the slate is cleared.  The fog is gone.  All the drama and lead up and creepy music just disappeared, a curtain was opened, and the sun is shining in.

Trump’s hands, in my view, are free, freer than they have been since he took office.  He can with justice tell Mueller to shit or get off the pot.  He’s had his fun.  He’s had his chance.  This is not the Inquisition.  He doesn’t get to turn the rack on anyone who opposes him indefnitely.

And to the point, he has TRIED, nonetheless.  He’s put the screws to everyone he can find a reason to torment, imprison, and grill.

And, to state the BLAZINGLY obvious, the 3 story bonfire surrounded by parading elephants, 21 gun salutes, and several thousand naked chorus girls, NOTHING MUELLER HAS PROSECUTED HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTION.

My own feeling is that both Clinton and Obama were bought by the Chinese.  They funneled them tons of highly classified technology, more or less allowed leaks, and accepted help in many forms from them in their elections.

My own feeling is that the Russia bullshit serves many purposes, but one of them is distraction from the nation we really should be paying attention to.  Not worrying about, I don’t think, but have on our radar.  The Chinese government is not popular.  Their economy is large, but unstable, and based on the continuing immiseration of the rank and file People the People’s Republic was nominally founded to help.

Hell, it may be China that wants us to wage war with Russia.  That would make sense from a number of perspectives.

And it needs to be pointed out, as Alex Jones has been doing, that it is very reasonable to feel that the Chinese government has formed close relationships with many tech firms–as seen, for example, in both Google and Apple making their authoritarian system easier to run, and dissidents easier to arrest, imprison, torture, exile to concentration camps and/or kill, as they see fit.  There is nothing the least bit Liberal, in any use of the word, cozying up to tyrants and their political mafia, even if it is for the profit motive.  It is sickening, actually, and likely something close to, and crossing over into, functional sociopathy.

Feelings

For no reason, I feel like Trump has turned the corner for the BETTER.  I think all the bullshit is actually empowering him.  I feel like good things are on the way.

I have no reason for believing this, and I won’t try and conjure up a rationalization.  It is only a gut instinct.

I’ve been traveling and have a lot to say.  So much, in fact, that I am going to procrastinate and go do a Kum Nye session.

Spiritual technology

The flip side of the coin, of course, is that white people (I am, by the way, quite aware that the influence of women is everywhere in all ages, even if the names are not always known; I am equally aware that in the modern era at least, women like Marie Curie have often contributed directly.  I say this not to be politically correct, but in recognition that on this issue an accurate use of language is helpful and, to use an abused but still usable word, fair)  SUCK at what we might call Spiritual Technology.  We have Christianity, which is really a Semitic religion which spread throughout the Mediterranean.  We have Freud and Psychology and Psychiatry.  We have shitty philosophy, which, unlike the Ouroboros, has actually eaten itself and disappeared.

One could say are our psychiatric drugs are helpful, but the fact seems to be that most of the maladies we can, sort of, treat, don’t exist at all in other cultures, by and large, and where they do, can be cured using traditional methods.

And again, you cannot medicate people into feeling engaged and useful, happy and connected, when their culture militates against all these things strongly and ubiquitously, or nearly so.

I myself, as I share regularly, feel most strongly connected to Buddhism, although I like some of the Sufi schools of thought, and have read the Tao Te Ching more times than I could count.

As I have speculated, perhaps the role of the Communist invasion of, and subjugation and destruction of large parts of, Tibet might have been, karmically, to push Tibetan ideas out onto a broader stage, where humanity as a whole might benefit from them, if we can avoid being fucking idiots long enough to see what is in front of us, and to learn from it.

Like all other groups of human beings, whites have committed many atrocities.  Unlike most other groups of human beings, we have felt guilt and remorse in many cases.

But what I would submit is our most salient attribute is, in fact, the capacity to believe in the benefits of progress. It is precisely this optimism, this hopefulness, which is harnessed by regressive radicals to advance their anti-humanistic agendas.

But the possibility of GENUINE progress remains as well.  We can learn from other cultures, even as they learn from us by harvesting and using our technology.  We do not need to turn the planet into a McWorld.  Better ideas, better rituals, better living is possible.

We just need to turn our best minds away from destroying everything good, and towards improving what already exists.  Like everything else, it is easier said than done, but most things which do begin, to begin as words and the ideas they express.  This is part of the process too, or can be, if it is to be.

White Supremacy

This phrase gets used a lot.  It is used, self evidently, propagandistically, in order to equate David Duke with anyone who points out that Alexander Fleming was a white man, and that his discovery was made within a cultural context created by white people, and which at that time was somewhat uniquely white.  Which is something white people can take pride in.  If I take pride in my culture, I do not thereby denigrate anyone else’s.

But given how pervasive the discoveries and inventions of white people are, rejecting us is tantamount to rejecting modernity as a whole, which includes political liberalism, the use of technology to cure disease and provide food, and the scientific method itself.

And it is an odd fact, which I think I have pointed to from time to time, that the very people who want to criticize White Supremacy usually do so from the position of embracing OTHER white men, like Karl Marx, or Lenin, or Rousseau, or any of the sundry idiots who did their part to rationalize this imbecility over the past century or so.

Chinese Communism?  It’s based on the ideas of a white man, as implemented by a Chinese man.

It is true many Americans speak and think incoherently.  We cannot expect clear language out of them.

But we can and should demand clear language from educated people, and using the term White Supremacist to describe anyone who is proud of America’s Liberal, tolerant, and evolutionary heritage is bombastic, wrong, and counterproductive. It breeds anger where none need exist, and this anger makes useful conversation less likely.  Useful conversation, in turn, is how real problems get fixed.

And to be sure, most of the people using this phrase don’t WANT dialogue, since demonizing SOMEONE–roll the dice, pick a card, but it will be white something–is part and parcel of their process.  This process, in turn, is a bastardization of everything good that should be present in a university, an institution of higher as in elevation not the quantity of drugs education.

I continue to believe that for most of the “intellectuals”–or as I like to term them, Thought Aesthetes–the true problem is what they are going to do with their lives.  They want less Them and more Me, but they have to pretend to care about Them in order to create a circle–a fatuous, disingenous circle, to be clear–back to them.

They want to be able to say “I am the sort of person who CARES about X, Y or Z”.  The content does not matter, because they never actually engage with X, Y, or Z.  What they engage with is how they SPEAK and THINK and FEEL about X, Y or Z.

It is solipsistic.  This is why, in 50 years of Leftist CARING about black Americans, something close to zero progress has happened.  The ghettos are still there.  The pessimism and fatalistic hopelessness is growing, seemingly.  No solid, honest leaders have emerged who have been embraced by poor blacks.   Nothing has been done, and by and large, no honest effort has been made to even TRY.  It’s all talk, quite literally.  Talking is the method.   Controlling language is the only outcome they care about.

I myself am half sane, half insane.  The sane part enables me to speak clearly.  The insane part enables me to see clearly how large segments of this mental institution we call Public Space are infested by little green men, magic, and princes on great horses who will always save the day at the last moment.

Really, how should I feel, seeing CLEARLY that most Academics in the Humanities–the people who teach philosophy, history, political science, English, anthropology, etc.–are fucking nuts?

These, by and large, are white people too.  We solve the problems, but we also create them.  That part of white habitual activity I too would be quite willing to reject.

South Africa and the White Man

I was chatting with a South African the other day, and at least until recently, the consensus among whites was “South Africa can’t go the way of Zimbabwe.  Nobody can be that stupid.”

But they seem to be going that way.  And if they go that way, mass hunger will follow, as night follows day.

Mugabe was eventually deposed, but as this guy pointed out, he did twenty years worth of damage.  You can’t reverse the effects of disastrously stupid policy overnight.  There are not just economic effects–such as uncertainty as to the security of property, and following reluctance to invest in or grow anything which makes anything, including food–but cultural effects, such as the belief that “what you make belongs to me”.

Here is the thing: hate us or love us, or treat us as one more tribe of clever humans who suffer from time to time from bad ideas, white people have invented nearly every life advancing technology in existence today.

Modern farming: by and large us.

Vaccines?  Us.

Cars, trains, steam engines, rockets, modern boats, airplanes: us.

The computer, modern physics, the cell phone: by and large us, although Asians have no doubt contributed some manufacturing techniques.

The skyscraper, modern roads, the philosophical protection of free markets, political Liberalism as an ideal: All white people, or so I believe.

The notion of universal, equal human rights: white people.

Here is the thing: when you get rid of white people, you get rid of talent.  You get rid of ingenuity.  You get rid of drive.

Now, on our beginning many new beginnings can be made. The Chinese don’t need us.  The Japanese don’t need us.  The Indians don’t need us.

But South Africa does.  South Africa will suffer from its racism.  I won’t excuse the history there, but the history since Mandela has not exactly reflected well on the natives.  If they want to claim equal abilities they need to demonstrate them.  They haven’t yet, and seemingly have no plans to any time soon.  They are walking into the fire, because it seems like the easiest thing to do.  This is stupidity, and the recent history of Africa SHOULD make this obvious.
