Self sabotage is the sacrificial offering many of us make daily to appease  the monster of shame.

Sometimes in this universe 1+1=1, a new one.  1 is always an arbitrary distinction–they can be formed countless ways–and there are no true opposites anywhere except our minds.

Perhaps I might frame spiritual growth as a continual process of forming new 1’s.

Among the passions, anger is by far the cheapest and easiest.

For all humans, it is most useful to have had a calming mother, who soothed them when they were upset, and thereby taught the process of self-calming.  For those of us who lacked this, though, there is always the potential of developing that inner voice independently.  It is difficult, but possible.

If the true Self is a wave function, then the manifest Self is always a potential.  Manifestation is stagnation, however, so potential is the most useful place–rather way of being–for a Self.  This makes it always both true and not true.

Identity politics is the expression of emotional coldness desperately seeking warmth.

Put another way, if you think they are not engaged in censoring opinions they find actually dangerous for whatever reason (with being close to, or at the hidden truth being the best guess) you are dumb.
