Laundry

People who have to use coin operated laundry machines must be having a tough time of it.  That’s not a large problem in the grand scheme of things, but it’s one more thing the elites and the “we know better than you what is good for you”‘s of the world did not think of.

They are not trying to save anyone, obviously, but they don’t even do a good job of pretend.

It is no good to live in the past, but if the past lives in us it is not past.  As long as that museum is there the front door—and the light outside—is barred.

Cancel Culture

If you think about what is happening, the so-called cancel culture really amounts to social and cultural terrorism.  It amounts to the demand that you comply with whatever their latest ludicrous idea is, or you will be attacked, punished, and to the extent possible destroyed.

This is terrorism.  This is the mechanism of orthodox political terrorism.
And if you think about it, terrorism, itself, is really just an extension of the old mafia protection rackets, where goons would go door to door to businesses in their neighborhood, and tell them they needed to pay them a certain amount of money every month for “protection”.  At varying times, in varying places, there may have been some actual value to this–especially in places where the cops maybe didn’t want to go, or where they were corrupt, making the mafia a de facto vigilante police force–but in most cases the REAL idea was that if you didn’t pay them, THEY would hurt you.  You were paying from protection from your protectors.
And just as negotiating with terrorists breeds more terrorism, giving in to Cancel Culture breeds more of it.  It empowers the lunatics, the fringe, the cringeworthy basement dwellers who live in swamps of hatred and vicarious violence.  They are not up to ACTUAL violence, most of them, and the ones that are are not up to standing up to actual resistance, since they are pathetic bullies.  But they are keyboard warriors, and very much up to the task of ruining people anonymously.
And in an actual civil war, if the shooting ever starts, I think many conservatives fail to understand the importance of the internet, and the fact that our opponents in general are much better at using and abusing it.  Guns are a weapon of the last war.
Violence is always a last recourse.  As I was telling one of my kids the other day, they CELEBRATED, at least in the South, when the Civil War broke out.  They CELEBRATED, at least in Germany, when World War One broke out.  The manly men among them were finally going to get the chance to kick those cowards asses.
Violence, once begun, is very hard to stop.  Winfield Scott called the whole Civil War virtually from the beginning.  He knew Richmond was a thousand miles or more from Washington.
There are signs that some of the hard heads are softening.  Noam Chomsky, as one example, seems to see that some of his ideological children are Devil’s Spawn, and he does not want to go down in lockstep agreement with them.
We will see.  This is an interesting time.  I was reflecting the other day the wisdom of some teacher I read about who told his students to keep a diary of this time.  Many years from now, our grandkids may want to hear stories about it, about the Great Plague that Wasn’t, and about all the things that will happen in the next six months.  Most of us are too busy living it to remember the daily craziness, but it probably would be worth printing articles here and there.
One noteworthy one I saw yesterday was the Minneapolis City Council, I think it was, telling the people of Minneapolis to get used to crime and to cooperate with criminals.  Who would have thought such a headline would be possible in a developed nation?  It’s mind boggling.

Kingsmen

As I seem to recall noting, this whole thing feels like an effort to get all of us at one anothers throats.  We are locked up like rats, and we all know what happens when you put too many rats in the same cage.

This is one of the reasons I think the suicide rate is so high.  When you feel aggression you cannot channel, it winds up becoming introjected as self abuse.  Since we are not seeing masses of people embroiled in conflict in the streets, I feel many individuals must be taking it out on themselves.  I would suspect many of the people in the streets of Portland would be suicidal, if they were not in the streets.  The same applies to much of BLM.
It is appropriate to hate the people doing this.  I hate Fauci, at least, and lately Birx.  They are making no efforts AT ALL to balance combating the disease–and indeed to weigh the disease honestly–with the effects of their nostrums, which consist largely in bloodletting and leeches.  To call it primitive is to insult our forebears, none of whom would have been stupid enough to do what they are doing.
Nothing like this has ever been none, certainly not on a global scale.  This is uncharted territory, and certainly fodder for those of us who believe the evidence points to a cabal which has been controlling our collective destiny for it’s impossible to say how long.  There are those who say Eisenhower–as a retiring President, and man of genuine moral and physical courage–was genuinely frightened when he delivered his “military-industrial” complex speech.
Interesting times.  I am doing increasingly well.  I have the tools I need to get through all this.  Many people do not, though, and it is out of concern for them that I write this.

Goodness and Evil

It occurs to me that sensation is the path to both Good and Evil.  In the former case, it is attending to what comes up naturally, to learning over time our true nature, that of light and goodness.  It consists in learning to embody and express spirit, in a motion of through: the spirit travels into us, then through us, into the world.

Evil is rooted in the pursuit of EXTERNALLY rooted sensation, of thrills.  Sadism, really, is just a pursuit of sensation, of strong sensation, which one does not earn or work for.
As I’ve commented in various ways at various times, the connection of the hippies and Satanism, of San Francisco with, eventually, Anton LaVey, consists in the pursuit of sensation without moral compass, without grounding, without rules.  There are rebels with alternative positive visions and rebels who are simply tearing down and destroying for the sensations it gives them.

Comment on HCQ

Regardless of where one comes down on the relative merits of the idea, particularly, of using HCQ as a prophylactic–which would end the pandemic globally in a month if it worked–the indisputable FACT is that medicine has been hijacked by political considerations, and that this was done by the Left.  If you state an opinion on HCQ you are rendering a de facto opinion on Trump, at least as the Left is construing all this.  This is horrible.

It remains hard for me to process, emotionally–as long as I’ve watched the Left–how wicked these people are, how obsessive, how hateful, how self loathing, and how dangerous they are.

I’ve been noticing I’m a bit off my game at work lately.  It seems like most other people are too.  It’s not just that working at home adds a layer of difficulty.  I think we are all in a bit of a state of shock, one which continues with each new days revelations.

The whole banning thing makes me sick.  The trials, on their account–and nobody is questioning whether or not they are doctors, or whether or not they are seeing patients–were with the wrong people, at the wrong times, with the wrong doses.
Flip side, it seems like the nations where HCQ is being used prophylactically, as in India in some places,and Malaysia, the death counts are low or almost non-existent.
Why are the most powerful players in our media world suppressing good news? 
As Dr. Gold–who was fired by the way, for this video–says “we can’t live in fear”.  This whole thing brings not just illness, but massive hypochondria.  I’m not immune.  I check myself with deep breathing every day to make sure everything is still good.
I fully expect to see mask wearing to become a permanent feature of our landscape, even once we make this COVID thing go away, ideally with mass distribution of HCQ.  200mg twice a week, across America, and the whole thing goes away.  Small wonder the Communist controlled WHO is recommending against it.
Be kind to yourself in this whole thing.  It’s overwhelming.  It’s overwhelming for all of us, and that is the GOAL.  We are dealing with truly vile, truly evil, truly monstrous human beings.
I predict the pendulum will soon swing back to Trump, and once it does, nothing will or can happen to ever swing it back.  And if and when he wins, Trump needs to hire Flynn back and give him his Open Season hunting license.  There is a lot of filth that needs to be cleared from these Augean Stables.

This time

I have, really, two bars, although I am actually giving up drinking nearly entirely, so I won’t be visiting either as much as I used to do.

But one of them is very Leftish.  Normally, I deal well with this.  I went to Cal, after all.  However, I am finding myself unable, this time, to forgive these people, who have been hating on Trump–and implicitly me–since 2015, when he announced his candidacy.
It is one thing to attack Trump with no cause.  He is after all a national figure, and certainly one who has said and done things it is not entirely unreasonable to question and even detest.  
However, THIS TIME they are attacking him via the proxy of the American people, and in no small measure, the world.  
Go on any forum where HCQ is being discussed.  The Left is actively rooting for its failure.  They work HARD, even torturing fact and logic, to get to where it is not only a non-starter, but something we should not even consider.  It seems obvious to me that they are afraid it, or some other medicine, will bring this lockdown and epidemic to an end before they get Joe installed as President, Joe Biden, an imbecile, senile, rapist criminal.
This level of hate should frighten and disgust all of us.  None of us are safe.  There are no lines these people will not cross.  There is no love and caring, only anger and violence.
It is sad.  But this is the truth.  The sane are waking up, but many will never wake up.

Money

It occurred to me last night what must have happened: multiple somebodies in a position to issue an order to do something about it must have decided money–and probably coins specifically–were a potential vector for the disease which kills 4 people in a thousand who get it, if not treated with HCQ/Zinc/Azithromyacin.

So they stopped issuing coins, or actively pulled them back.  Even if they didn’t pull paper back, paper really needs coin backing, since it is rare (yet: the inflation has not hit yet) for transactions in cash not to need them.
But we should fear the loss of cash.  Without cash, any of us can be cancelled with a few keystrokes.  Our cards won’t work at the pump, at the ATM, at the grocery store.  You are outside the system in a moment.  With cash, at least you can plan for short term contingencies.
This clearly seems to be the goal of the people trying to cancel Trump and everyone who supports him.
