Collectivism and identity politics

Identity politics, obviously, is a form of collectivism.  All groups are defined, herded intellectually, into groups.  Blacks are as different from whites as giraffes are from hyenas.  Freedom, for them, consists solely in the ability to choose which group you belong to, whether such a choice makes sense or not.

Now, logically, the argument that “we are all human beings”, or more properly “we all belong to the same species, and as individuals pursue all the same aims” makes no sense, if you view all groupings as inherently different.  Men are wolves, and women are horses.  They are different species.  They are INHERENTLY different, and the lines cannot be blurred except by men saying they are women, and hence becoming women, and vice versa.  This is your only freedom.  This is the only way to change how you are judged.
This, obviously, is an extraordinarily clumsy, unhelpful, and distorted way to view human social systems.  It is a Tubaform, as I call them, which works to foment and expand conflict where none need exist, and which, obviously, works to make everyone who believes it stupider in profound, long term, and very important ways.
