Nudging

Richard Thaler and Cass Sunstein, in their book on applied manipulation as administered by enlightened technocratic elites–that’s what I heard, in any event, even if perhaps that is not what was said–came up with this idea of small measures that tend to incline people one way, versus another.  A nudge.  Just a small tap, not even a push, but which in a system, over time, was thought to be likely to achieve large results.  Small differences can often do that.  Stan Grof used the example of catchment areas, where a given raindrop might wind up many miles one way or the other, depending on which side of a hill it landed.

Thinking about all this, do not lockdowns and fear mongering generally–IT’S DANGEROUS OUT THERE!!!!–amount to nudges to stay home, avoid risks, and make yourself comfortable?  Do those in turn not amount to nudges to get fatter, less physically active, less social, and less discriminating in your dietary choices?

Yes, of course.  Of course.  Obviously.  This was all easily predictable.

It’s an endless snow storm out there, that may never end.  You don’t know.  It shows no signs of it.  Why not accustom yourself to a life alternating between your computer and your TV, filled with food that makes you feel good, a daily soak in the bathtub, and a bottle of wine at night?  If you gain a few or more pounds, who is going to see you?  And you never have to wear anything but sweat pants.

I will continue to insist the rest of my life, I believe–whether it ends today, or 50 years from now in a colony on the moon or the bottom of the ocean–that one of the most useful concepts I have seen in my life is Hayek’s distinction of Action To/Action For.

This is the Nudge concept in a nutshell, isn’t it?  An intelligent nudge is an Action To.  Almost imperceptibly, or perhaps fully imperceptibly, as something fully subliminal (sub-: below; limen: the threshold), it Acts To generate some desirable outcome, or in any event some outcome desired by the Manipulator or Operator.

But these lockdowns and fear mongering, as I just argued, amount to Action For, don’t they?  No no no no no the Branch Covidians say.  That’s NOT WHAT WE INTENDED.

Oh, I say.  That may be.  But that’s what you got.  And you could and should have predicted it, so I feel on decent ground wondering if even the most naive and deluded among you might on some level have WANTED this outcome.  You can usually avoid what you REALLY want to avoid, particularly when given the time and warning to avoid it.  But you didn’t, did you?

I remember writing in the middle of 2020, probably during the actual lockdowns, that there would come a time when the people who led us into this clusterfuck would throw up their hands and say “How could we have known?”  I said, in approximately April of 2020, that the answer would be YOU COULD HAVE FUCKING LOOKED.

I still think that will turn out to be prescient.  The advice I give people is often, perhaps even routinely, ignored by most people.  Nobody wants to admit that anyone could be that much smarter than them, or than the people on TV.  I’m used to this.

And I will add that I really think there is a curve, where with an increasing level of intelligence there is a tendency to get more and more arrogant, but that there is a point where it tips, and you start getting humble again, because there is a point where you start to suss out just how much true ambiguity there is in the world, and how easy it is to be wrong.

Now, I don’t owe it to anyone to discount myself, or play small.  On the contrary, in my view (and I say this knowing full well it is possible no one will read this, although my long term conceit is that I have readers, and perhaps quite a few, although I don’t know), I think I need to speak what I think I know as loudly as I can.

At the same time, I can and often do have open conversations with people with IQ’s half of mine on equal footing.  I have absolutely ZERO need to prove I am smart to anyone.  In fact, I play dumb the overwhelming majority of the time, with nearly everyone.  I prefer it.  It is a camouflage of sorts, and I like camouflage.  There are people I have known for a long time who have no idea that I have degrees from Berkeley and the University of Chicago, or that I am even remotely smart enough to have gotten into, much less done well at those schools.

And I don’t talk about this blog, ever.  Emotionally, for me, it is a public diary I don’t discuss, even if these thoughts are in principle open to the world.  I know two people who live in my city who know about it, although I don’t know who they told.  And one of them I know does not read it.  One used to, on occasion, but she has likely forgotten about it too.

Correction

The CEO of OneAmerica said deaths were up 40% among WORKING AGE PEOPLE.  So my math was off by a bit, probably quite a bit, since most deaths are not among working age people.

Still, these are people whose death rates have been stable for some time, or so I would think.  Let’s say the number is 200,000.  Why should we NOT attribute that to the lockdowns/masks/vaccines/stress?

Here is another quote from the article I posted a few days ago:

At the same news conference where Davison spoke, Brian Tabor, the president of the Indiana Hospital Association, said that hospitals across the state are being flooded with patients “with many different conditions,” saying “unfortunately, the average Hoosiers’ health has declined during the pandemic.”

So OVERALL health has been hurt.  People are exercising less.  Socializing less.  Eating more.  Stress eating.  Drinking more.  Gaining weight.

All of this is monstrous, all wrong.  I get excited and do bad math sometimes, but someone out there should be doing good math, comparing COVID deaths, which are half what they were being reported as a year ago, with overall deaths, which are growing quickly.

I never said that the effects of the lockdowns would be immediate.  Most of this I expected to have a lag.

And all of the HUGE and long term problems we are going to have with children from all this torture we are inflicting on them have not yet BEGUN to manifest in anything like the wave that is coming, even if suicides are already up 50%.  That will take another year or two, perhaps, to become more obvious, even if psychologists have been sounding the alarm for a year or more.

This is all monstrous lunacy, supported by stable stupidity, which in my previous post I equated with misguided notions of sanity.

“We must be right”, the lunatics say, “because we are all saying the same thing.”

Sanity

Much of what is called sanity is simply widely shared stupidity.

These are the people who say that the main thing about red things is that they are red; and circular things are those that go in circles and linear things those that go in lines.  We know, they say, because some go in circles and some go in lines.  It’s all so obvious.  You would have to be crazy to doubt that’s all there is to know.

Math

About 3 million Americans die each year.  The CDC makes this a hard number to find, since they don’t publish it, as far as I can tell.  They publish a death rate per 100,000.  You have to calculate it, based on about 330 million Americans.

Actually, here is one number, on page 6 of this report: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db427.pdf

Rounded slightly up, 3.4 million Americans died in 2020.  For 2019, when I ran the numbers in about April or May of 2020, it was between 2.8 and 2.9 million.  That is already an overall increase in mortality of 500-600,000 people.  Blame COVID.  Don’t blame COVID.  It is still a number that warrants vastly more than the ZERO exploration I’ve seen in the public media.

And I think we know why we haven’t seen that exploration.

As far as I can tell, the numbers for 2021 are not out yet, but do you not think OneAmerica had the death numbers in Indiana, both among people they had covered and people they had not, down to the last death by noon on January 1st?  After a year like that, everyone wants to know the damage.

Here is the thing: one of the beauties of free markets is you get competing interests.  The GOVERNMENT, and the DEMOCRATS, mainly–although there have been a lot of Republican Quislings too–want to count UP COVID deaths, and count DOWN all other deaths.  They want everything they did to look reasonable, and SUCCESSFUL.

[I should note that you may assume it would be the opposite, that they would want less COVID deaths so as to make it appear they reduced them.  But the reality is that TRUE COVID deaths actually WERE quite low.  It was a bad flu year, if you count people who REALLY died FROM COVID.  That is my view.  So they had to vastly increase them to justify the drama and justify the historically unprecedented lockdowns and masks and all that, which never had any science behind them.  You can only do that sort of thing when you bullrush people screaming ITS AN EMERGENCY, then censor and shut down all the people who STILL want to stop your aggressions on freedom and common decency.

So the game is to keep high numbers–which are high enough to justify on going fear, ongoing repression, and make the usual idiots think its good policy, necessary, and its architects good and wise people–while avoiding any awareness on the part of anyone that you just killed 2 people with your medicine for every one you can even on the most generous standard claim to have saved.

And I will note that all this is CURRENT numbers.  We can’t know how many people will die directly or indirectly from the effects of these Messenger RNA injections in coming years.  Those numbers will presumably be as undercounted as they are now, and as COVID numbers have been overcounted.  There will in any event be some true ambiguity.]

With the NIH and CDC they can likely get away with their Fun With Numbers.  There are a thousand ways to lie with statistics, and with this much practice they are no doubt great at it by now.

But OneAmerica is looking at a huge loss of profit with all this, and they are going to want to limit their losses in 2022, which may well mean a full court press to get back to normal.  That would make sense.  Lobbying efforts.  Speeches to Congress.  Spots on Tucker Carlson.

Their bean counters gave them a worst case scenario, using the numbers they had on COVID (which were almost certainly HONESTLY calculated, using the data of someone like John Ionniddis), and they exceeded that worst case scenario probably 3-fold or more.  Absolute catastrophe.  Maybe they are reinsured–that’s what derivatives in some forms do–maybe not.  They are rich, but this sort of thing is not why anyone is in business.

And the 40% absolute increase in overall mortality will vary State by State.  I think OneAmerica mainly or only works in Indiana, so their numbers will apply to Indiana, but a change of that magnitude has be approximately as large everywhere.  I would assume it is BIGGER in places like New York and California, and smaller in places like Florida and Texas.  We don’t have the numbers yet, but it may be the life insurance companies who spill the beans because they are losing their shirts and need to get this shit fixed PRONTO.

Here is the main point of this post. The main event.  The meat of the matter: if 3.4 million people died in 2020, and 2.9 million in 2019, and the overage relative to a normal year was forty percent, then if I use 3 million as a baseline, then 40% of that is 1.2 million.

Logically, if 1.2 million MORE people died in 2021 than were predicted (and I don’t know if this is relative to 2020, which was already an outlier, or historical averages) then THE COVID POLICIES OF THE DEMOCRATS KILLED 1.2 MILLION PEOPLE, just in 2021, and just in America.

Ponder that.  Ponder it carefully.

At the VERY OUTSET of all this, way back in April or May or June of 2020, I looked up that quote from the Big Short, where Brad Pitt brings his young  proteges down with the sober reflection that a mere 1% increase in unemployment kills 30-40,000 people EVERY YEAR it lasts.

I cited this quote often.  I linked the BBC broadcast where they evaluated this claim and found it plausible, even if it was impossible to say with confidence a precise range in any given set of circumstances.  That more people died of all causes in bad economic conditions seemed obvious, and the only debate was really about how to predict the numbers in a coherent and reasonably accurate way.

But STRESS KILLS.  If there were some way to know the average blood pressure of the populace as a whole, it most likely went up 10-20-30 points during the lockdowns, and mask mandates, and the “get this jab or lose your fucking job asshole” bullshit.  A lot of people got locked up with people they realized they didn’t like.  A lot of divorces happened.  A lot of ARGUMENTS, about money, about unresolved stress, about being in the same fucking room all day every day for months on end with fucking cops yelling at you if you took a fucking walk in the park.

People stopped getting checkups.  Our kids stopped getting the immunizations that actually ARE immunizations. None of the vax folks want to talk about that.  Cancers grew without people seeing doctors.  Heart conditions worsened.  People put guns to their heads and pulled the trigger.  They ran into trees or oncoming traffic while drunk driving.  They stuck a needle in their arms that was removed by the coroner.

And do you not think these numbers are not going to found EVERYWHERE?  In Germany?  France?  The UK?  The Netherlands?  Even in Japan.  Even and perhaps especially in China, which of course will not report them.  Xi is even less honest than Fauci, and that is saying something.

This whole thing is a fucking disaster.  It is a global catastrophe driven by ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE of such staggering stupidity that I continue to find it impossible to see it as accidental, or driven by other than venal and ideological forces.

I’ve been calling this a Nuremburg Trials worthy crime for some time.

Fauci killed over a million Americans just in the last year.  Just think what a forty percent jump in death across Europe and much of Asia looks like.  Just think what happens when we add in deaths from hunger and extreme poverty that his policies created all around the world.

Just think how EASY it would have been to allow doctors to TREAT this disease rather than do the worst possible things while waiting for a vaccine that kills more people than it saves, forcing the government to lie on behalf of Big Pharma.

It takes a bigger imagination than mine to fit all that in one brain, the lost lives and LIFE, the cruelty and malice, the greed and the lies, and the KNOWING ALL THIS TO BE WRONG, on the part of so many thousands of doctors and clinicians and experts, who in the main said nothing, and did nothing.

It’s believable.  But it’s nauseating.  I count myself on the right  side of this global human drama, but I don’t have nearly as much company as even mild cynics would have expected.  No, you have to view most of humanity as gullible, weak, unprincipled, and cowardly to get to a group this small.  It’s tiny, perhaps 5% of the population that really GETS all this, and spoke out often and aggressively.

How can evil lose when 95% of the decent people in the world lack the backbone to say no to evil?  It hasn’t been losing.  That’s obvious.  It’s winning.

Emotional exploration

Really, what this amounts to, is finding and learning more about the boundaries of your experience, how far you go, how, and how that feels.  Where are the lines?  Can you feel why?  Can you extend them?

And it is an interesting question what the relationship is between experience and thoughts.  Are thoughts a form of experience?  Or are they a sort of distancing from experience, the experience of not feeling, the experience of rejecting experience?

How are these thoughts related?  What is similar, what different?  Your answer not only can but should differ from mine.

Nineveh was the capital of the Neo-Assyrian Empire.

Life is basically fair.

Life is basically unfair.

The Moonlight Sonata is in C Sharp Minor.

It’s hard to think a thought without experience, without feelings of one sort or another intruding, isn’t it?  Some thoughts are more evocative than others, and of course for all of us it will depend on our associations.

For me, the first thought conjures a vague memory of D.W. Griffith’s “Intolerance”, although I think it portrayed a sack of a different city, I think of Babylon.

Life is fair/unfair.  This is emotively laden for nearly everyone, isn’t it?

Moonlight Sonata, if you know it, how can you not hear it in your mind, and then feel something?  But if you are a musician, the C Sharp Minor is bound to pull up all sorts of other things.

Thoughts tug emotions out of us.  So if you want to live in abstraction, if you want to live outside of experience, you have to be careful what sorts of thoughts you allow.  You have to find thoughts denuded of emotional content, and you have to KEEP THEM THERE.  New thoughts risk new feelings, and new feelings can lead to old feelings, and the whole balance can vanish in a moment.

This is how you build rigidity.  Rigidity is a prison you build to keep the world out, where you can slowly die in a linear way.  It is a suicide.  That is the line.  That is the thought and intent.  A slow desiccation and then a cessation of everything.

Bouncing.  That is unpredictable.  It is often painful.  But that is where the orchestra is.

I cry sometimes.  It is deeply, deeply painful being me sometimes.  But I am blessed with a constitution that somehow doesn’t break.  I don’t know why, but I have faith in it.

I feel sure the path to knowledge is sustained confusion.  You have to allow it free reign.  Allow it to travel in you.  You have to learn to live in it, never knowing what is next.  It is a green which can eventually carry you to new places.

And what I am writing here is incomprehensible to those who have already chosen, most likely long ago, to die in prisons.  To them, it is irrational not to live behind bars.  I see this.  To them, I appear a lunatic.  So be it.  I cannot rescue anyone who is desperate for captivity.

Here is a secret

You are always a recipient of any emotion you inflict on, or gift, anyone else.

I don’t think I’ve seen it put quite this way.

Part of the energy goes to them, and part flows to you.

Insurance companies

I thought about, but I don’t think ever did, a post pointing out that INSURANCE COMPANIES would do well to support Vitamin D sufficiency, the Zelenko Protocols, Ivermectin/HCQ, and sane policies concerning COVID.

It’s impossible for me to know if they have bought into this–here is another pun I haven’t seen–this Faucian Bargain–but logically healthcare providers want less people in the hospital, and less people needing doctors for any reason.  Their profit is the difference between what they take in, and what they pay out.  If the latter balloons, then they have to raise premiums, which affects things, and in the meantime take a haircut on profits.

It seems likely they have been pushing the jabs, but their internal data keepers have to have been running the numbers on all this.  And I suspect the numbers are not good.

But who is affected even more directly than health insurance companies is LIFE insurance companies.  They have had pretty steady mortality rates for many years.  With a few odd years here and there, their actuaries have them within a couple tenths of a percent of predictions every year.

Until Anthony Fauci.  Not COVID.  Until Anthony Fauci, and the wholesale destruction of American mental and physical health through a thousand small cuts.

And God only know where our kids will be in ten years after all this monstrous horror is over (one hopes and prays).

Read this.  This guy is just stating data, and if insurance companies know anything it is data.

https://www.thecentersquare.com/indiana/indiana-life-insurance-ceo-says-deaths-are-up-40-among-people-ages-18-64/article_71473b12-6b1e-11ec-8641-5b2c06725e2c.html

The head of Indianapolis-based insurance company OneAmerica said the death rate is up a stunning 40% from pre-pandemic levels among working-age people.

“We are seeing, right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “The data is consistent across every player in that business.”

OneAmerica is a $100 billion insurance company that has had its headquarters in Indianapolis since 1877. The company has approximately 2,400 employees and sells life insurance, including group life insurance to employers in the state.

Davison said the increase in deaths represents “huge, huge numbers,” and that’s it’s not elderly people who are dying, but “primarily working-age people 18 to 64” who are the employees of companies that have group life insurance plans through OneAmerica.

“And what we saw just in third quarter, we’re seeing it continue into fourth quarter, is that death rates are up 40% over what they were pre-pandemic,” he said.

“Just to give you an idea of how bad that is, a three-sigma or a one-in-200-year catastrophe would be 10% increase over pre-pandemic,” he said. “So 40% is just unheard of.”

More:

“The number of hospitalizations in the state is now higher than before the COVID-19 vaccine was introduced a year ago, and in fact is higher than it’s been in the past five years, Dr. Lindsay Weaver, Indiana’s chief medical officer, said at a news conference with Gov. Eric Holcomb on Wednesday.

Just 8.9% of ICU beds are available at hospitals in the state, a low for the year, and lower than at any time during the pandemic. But the majority of ICU beds are not taken up by COVID-19 patients – just 37% are, while 54% of the ICU beds are being occupied by people with other illnesses or conditions.

The state’s online dashboard shows that the moving average of daily deaths from COVID-19 is less than half of what it was a year ago. At the pandemic’s peak a year ago, 125 people died on one day – on Dec. 29, 2020. In the last three months, the highest number of deaths in one day was 58, on Dec. 13.”.

Update on my book

Still not working on it.

I was looking through that piece on The Future I wrote in 2010-ish, and it referenced a book.  Back then, those were the Obama years, when radical leftism was “conspiracy theory”; I would argue it is conspiracy fact now.

But I was overcome with helplessness, and the idea was forced on my continually by my emotional energies that somehow I had to write a book to fix things somehow.

That’s a bit crazy of course, but if you look at the shelves of most bookstores, I think a lot of those authors held and hold delusions not so very different from mine.

And that of course is a huge part of the problem.  There are dedicated Leftists bringing every ounce as much energy to their own projects as I might bring to mine.  And it really doesn’t matter if their ideas make sense to me or not.  If they make sense to anyone else, those are people I will never influence in any way.

And as I’ve said before, you can get rich and famous talking about how you solved your problems without solving your problems.  As one obvious example, it is very likely Tony Robbins is seriously addicted to talking about self improvement without having even remotely having finished his own work.  Perhaps he is solid.  I don’t know.  But perhaps he is merely an actor, a performer, saying the sorts of things people like him say, and doing something cringe-worthy every night at home.

Be all that as it may, my true main responsibility is to myself, to my own growth, and to not being a hypocritical douchebag; or, at least, to being as small an hypocritical douchebag as possible, and mostly not one, most of the time.

Yes, that is my humor of truth.

So that’s the story.  I’m not lazy, but it’s just not my time to try and get my name in print.  As I’ve said, I may try a podcast at some point.  I’m addicted somewhat to talking anyway, and it seems to do me good, and perhaps it might do others some good as well.  If I have a neurotic tick, I may as well admit it, then find what use in it I can.

But that’s some months away.  Not going to happen in the upswing of 2022, most likely.  Maybe when we are swinging back to shorter days.

Put another way

What I would suggest to any National Security sorts reading this is that Non-State agents are BY FAR the biggest existential threat to the security of the United States, and that means need to be implemented at the Federal level of identifying and neutralizing–not least through massive asset seizure–these threats.

Now, what I assume to be the case is that said agents already own large chunks of the human real estate in our government, most likely in most cases without the witting understanding or cooperation of those involved, who nonetheless reliably do what makes no sense otherwise, for one motivation or another–perhaps threat, perhaps inducement, perhaps ideology, perhaps stupidity.

I will reshare this video.  Well worth your time.  Almost all clearly sourced primary data: https://www.banned.video/watch?id=6182943ec1526b2b32741040

I read Vanguard, Black Rock and State Street between them control some $20 trillion in assets.  This is roughly equal to the GDP of the United States, if I have my numbers right, and probably more than the wealth of most of the planet put together.

Do you think smart people, with that amount of money, a lack of ethical scruples, and all the consultants money could buy–including intelligence professionals from all the worlds agencies–could get away with crimes on a large scale?  I think so.  Why not?

For example, why would or could they not have put John Brennan on their de facto payroll while he was still at the CIA?  It’s only ethics, not logistics, that would have prevented it, and ethics seem to be shrinking everywhere.  And there are of course many forms of payment, aren’t there?  Not all money.  Most can be bought with money, though.  Think of it as bribery through barter, with a healthy dose, most likely, of extortion thrown in.

We all know by now this is possible, don’t we?

Words, mere words and magical spells

This should probably be five posts.  But it isn’t.

I saw this quote on my Facebook, which was the sort of thing I would do if I were clever and trying to shut me up, which cited an Arab proverb (supposedly): “It is good to know the truth and speak the truth, but better to know the truth and speak of palm trees.”

A few days later I saw something like that on a church marquee, something like “wisdom is knowing what not to say”, although that’s not it.

A day or two ago, again on Facebook, Voltaire: “One should always speak the truth, but should not always speak all the truth one knows.”

I myself seem to be transforming a bit.  The squeeze to write is lessening a bit.  The push.

And I’m not blind to the futility, in some respects, of trying to be smart in a world filled with smart words, which are ignored by people who have chosen to be blind.  There is nothing I can say which has not in some form been said, in most cases long, long ago, and in most cases vastly better.

I can rail against injustice and stupidity, but have not people like me been railing against injustice and stupidity for all of recorded time, and presumably long before, and been roasted on bonfires and had our heads smashed in for it?

Yes.  Yes.  But that is the game.  Words can be magical, too.

Joanne Rowling, in her guise as Dumbledore, as expressed in the magic of imaginative fiction, which tends to create very real outcomes in the measurable and sensible and emotive worlds of its participants:

Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.

So, after that exculpatory ramble, perhaps issued mainly to myself, I offer some random observations which I can only communicate to you in the inferior medium of words, which will receive what light you bring to them.

**********************************

Many of carry destruction in us like bombs with lit fuses, which we can only fall on, or throw out into the world; in both cases, the explosion creates blindness in us while it creates pain in ourselves and/or others.  I think the explosion usually affects everyone around you.  And these explosions can be nearly continual.  Trauma is a wellspring from which new water emerges continually.

That blindness looks like logic and common sense, caring and compassion.  That is what we call it, and through a determined act of imagination it can SEEM that way.  But that is not the reality.  Much of personal growth is realizing all the damage we have done without intending it, without realizing it, and in most cases actively and consciously as what we intended to be moral acts.

If I have one theme I would like to be known for, it is perhaps that there is no morality without wisdom.  Niceness can hurt people.  Compassion can hurt people.  And violence is sometimes compassionate.  People who are hurting others need to be hurt to be stopped, sometimes.

Hitler should have been stopped by military force when he started rearming, and no later than the reoccupation of the Rhineland.  Lenin should have been stopped when he was still fighting the White Army.  Churchill made these arguments at the relevant times, and in both cases was rebuffed as a war monger.

But his war mongering, so called, would have led to perhaps 200 million or more less violent deaths in the 20th Century.  No Soviet Union, no Maoist China (and no Maoist famine), no Communist North Korea, no Cuban torture chambers, no Vietnam War.  No wars in Angola, and Afghanistan and Nicaragua and El Salvador and Chile.  The list is very long, and entails a good many of the countries on the planet.  Arguably, Islamic terrorism never would have come about, since that seems to have been an invention of the KGB, as alleged by a Rumanian defector.

Most of our violence in the 20th century would not have happened if Lenin had been captured and hung until dead.

And if you have denuded yourself of the power of anger, of violence, of conscious destruction (versus passive, blind destruction), then you have eliminated your power of mobility in the currents of life.  You have rendered yourself someone that things are done to, and who cannot meaningfully contribute to the lives of others in any genuinely creative way.

**************************************

In the act of sex, a man inserts himself into a woman.  This is an intrusion.  Contemporary feminists, not entirely without justification, for this reason see all heterosexual sex as rape.

Here is what I would suggest to balance this observation, though: the woman surrounds the man.  She envelops him, encloses him.  She encircles him.

I think most violence against women comes from the realization by men, at some primitive level (I nearly said Neanderthal, but they may have been smarter than us), that women are actually our masters.  They are smarter than us.  They see more.  Some men accept this, and some men see it as a challenge to their notion that they are supposed to be in control, and superior.

But I think all men live in the spell of women, or at least a woman.  And she is not good, or evil.  She is not even trying to do that.  Her energy field just goes much farther, and encompasses more.  Women are like men, obviously.  They get confused.  They have conflicting emotions.  They get hurt emotionally perhaps more easily, but they are also more resilient.  What ruins a man for life, a woman will get over in time.

There is magic in sexual energy.  This much I agree with.  But I obviously differ from those who say it should be USED for something.  For example, I was reading last night about Jimmy Page’s long term and openly acknowledged admiration for Aleister Crowley.  The ZOSO thing actually IS an occult set of symbols.

No, I think the ideal is a mixing of current.  Men are condensing and coalescing and shrinking.  The tendency is to emotionlessness and virtually perfect stupidity amid continual motion.

Women, in turn, tend to expand and expand into continually shifting whirling patterns of movement outside of and inside of themselves, which provides endless information, but information that is hard to understand, to verbalize and to use, and they tend, in my observation, to get confused and immobilized.  Men tend to shatter this, and bring them down to Earth.  But they tend not to want to stay tied to Earth, which is part of why much conflict happens.  Most men, in this and many other countries, don’t really feel on a sensitive level.  That takes training for us.

But in a perfect world, in a perfect relationship, you get a balloon afloat in another world, self aware, tethered to Earth, but moving to the Sun, to the Light, which is about all we can ask for in this life.

My two cents.  Most of this is abstract.  In my own case, I think I am still afraid of women on some level.  I agree with Gabor Mate, who said this in “The Wisdom of Trauma” that most men are.  You cannot interact deeply with a woman and remain fixed in one spot.  And they are always smarter than us, and one step ahead.

Humility and acceptance are the obvious paths.  They need us, too, in many ways. That is worth remembering as well.

I will end this ramble by noting that I liked and continue to like the parable that Doris Lessing created in “The Marriage of Zones Three, Four and Five.”.

Skillful means is connecting organically in action to the flow of feeling felt in meditation.  For most intents and purposes, it is the act of making meditation useful and practical.

We want better relationships but do not accept that the path is individual, personal growth.  For relationships to grow in aggregate WE need to grow in aggregate.  This is the basic potential of Individualism, which waxes and wanes in its reality and always has.

Think about it: how selfish is it to seek in others what we lack in ourselves?  That they give to us something we lacked the ability or will to build in ourselves?

And this is complicated even further by the observation that often what we think we have found in others is actually a projection of our need, and that disappointment is inevitable no matter what the other person does.

To my mind, Individualism is, yes, a modern notion, a modern philosophy, that the individual is the root element of society, and that individual moral conscience is more important than conformity to the collective.  This idea, expressed as such, is uncommon in world history.  In most places and times and peoples, the CLEAR expectation was conformity.  No one was asking you to formulate new ideas, merely sometimes to compare some present situation to tradition, to interpret something concrete in the patterns of your tribal or religious history.

But this sense that every person has a discrete relationship with the Divine has I think recurred often around the world.  Inevitably it will conflict with the Power Elite of that time and place, because in speaking for REALITY, they themselves maintain a place of superior status and privilege and usually wealth.

But can anyone see through anyone else’s eyes?  Feel with anyone else’s heart?  It is always tyranny asking you to subordinate your own perceptions to those of a collective, and always has been.  Individualism is about the looseness needed to not be an idiot.

And in that regard it occurred to me to comment that serious things should usually not be taken TOO seriously.  You need wiggle room.  Nothing good comes from compulsion, or a thirst for perfection.

Psychological cannibalism is a thing, isn’t it?  Eating up people’s essence, eating their dignity, their self worth, their joy?

I wonder sometimes if many male sex addicts–and I would extend this to all men just looking to “get laid”–are not really wanting some emotional part of the woman without giving up any emotional part of themselves.  After all, getting laid is getting consent, and consent is an emotional concession in many ways when she knows he is giving no love back.

People who wear you out just being with them usually, I think, know what they are doing.  If they make you feel tired, you are probably giving them energy without realizing it.

Both of my parents, I think, were emotional cannibals.  My father has passed, but I think my mother still is.

In a sense, this is brutal.  It is HARD contemplating that both of my parents were consciously hurting me all of my childhood and all of my adult life.

But I think this is my life’s work.  When you get broken, and everything is taken from you but health and intelligence and some innate capacity for endurance, what comes of it?  It’s all very interesting.  I hate it and I resent it.  But it is still interesting.  All of this, everything I write, comes from this place.

I am a thought worker.  I am highly intelligent.  I am also probably the most likely of everyone I know to get so drunk in public I piss my pants and get mistaken for a homeless guy.  It’s an odd contradiction.  I’m better, MUCH better, than I used to be, but I’m still sometimes a mess.

I think the reason I am still alive is I GO for it.  I’m not holding back.  I’m leaving nothing behind.  If I set sail, I set out all three sheets.  And it hasn’t killed me yet, and since it is slowing down A LOT it is unlikely to at this point.  I’m physically active enough that my liver is most likely fine, and I take as many supplements as old people take medicines.

That’s enough of that.

Observation: Doctors have been functionally eliminated from this pandemic.  Banished.  Rendered irrelevant.  They are not needed to do the tests, and no TREATMENT, no healing, no palliative care, has been PERMITTED by the MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT until the patient gets sick enough to enter a hospital with a very good chance of dying.

Put another way, no doctor who is abiding by NIH guidelines, is relevant in ANY WAY with respect to this pandemic, unless they are working in a hospital.  And in the hospital, they are still irrelevant.  Remdesvir is the only allowed remedy, and nurses can administer that.  Nurses can administer oxygen.  Nurses can put people on respirators, and orderlies can pull their dead bodies out and cart them to the morgue where their death will be misclassified.

But every doctor in every medical building, or private practice can do NOTHING to help ANYONE, if they abide by what the Centralized Bureaucracy has ordered, despite all the SCIENCE to the contrary.

90% of our doctors, I would guess, have been ordered to sit on their hands by the Party, and dissenters severely punished.  Dr. Peter McCullough, to take the obvious example, was in effect fired from Baylor Medical School for TREATING COVID, and doing so effectively.  He didn’t kill anyone.  There was no malpractice.  On the contrary: he HEALED PEOPLE.

In what sane world are people like that fired?  In what sane world are lawsuits then filed to distance Baylor from McCullough?  The shame there accrues 100% to Baylor administrators.  Those mentally ill fucks should be ashamed of themselves, and everyone involved professional censured.

And I would say generally that all medical professionals who PUSHED all this, and who PUNISHED dissent should be censured professionally.  Their licenses should be put on probation, and the only reason I don’t think they should be revoked is that we would lose half the doctors we have.  I’m not entirely sure that would be bad in the long run.  A system vastly less good at pulling people out of the holes created by bad lifestyle choices would over time likely induce better choices, but certainly a lot of fat, stupid, lazy people would die in the meantime.

If that sounds judgmental, it is.  But it’s worth pointing out from time to time that medicine starts with your mind, and is expressed through YOUR eyes, mouth, hands, and feet.  It is expressed through your decisions.

And as reckless as I can be, I have limits.  There really are lines I don’t cross.  There is method in my madness.

What I see are people crossing lines daily that don’t need to be crossed, and doing it continually over many years, then asking Medicine to fix them.  It’s expensive for “Society”, which is why our medical costs are so high, but it’s also a loss of life, of vitality, of purpose, of everything which being human is supposed to make possible.

None of us were born to get fat watching TV.  That is sitting life out, more or less literally.  I go weeks without turning my TV on, although I obviously spend too much time on my computer.  But even when I’m on the internet, I’m learning something, or writing something.  This is not much, but it’s something.

I’m a fuckup in many ways, that other people are not fuckups.  But if you point that out to me, I will agree, to the extent it is true.  You really only criticize people you hope can do better.

That’s enough of that.  Basta.

****

What if this whole planet is a halfway house filled with the fuckups of the universe?  What if the Buddha and Jesus were sent here as a condition of probation?  What if all of us are so far below the average standard of the spirits in the rest of the universe that they find it hard to differentiate Mother Teresa from Ted Bundy?

We like to think of humans as amazing, of “man as the measure of all things”.  But what if, from some unimaginably superior level, we are just “them”, and looked on with distaste?

Can you say this is impossible?

****

Idea of deep ache, and deep ache people.  I was driving to a bar the other day, and thinking of someone specific.  I thought “she is a deep ache person like me”.

Deep ache people tend to live in foxholes, and so we have a hard time seeing each other, but it’s still an interesting phrase, to me.

****

Self loathing is still attention.  Ponder this for a moment.

Thought is a way of subduing experience.  It tames it and weakens it, and dilutes it.  Small wonder thought becomes obsessive in people who are emotionally wounded.

The way to depression through trauma is the shame pathway.  Trauma can express as shame, and shame as a sense of inferiority, such that true connection is impossible.  Since we need other people–at least at a certain level of development, which is where most of us live–this felt sense, which usually expresses as ideas too, is bound to generate sadness and depression.

I have read in the past that depression is repressed anger.  But repressed anger is really a poor functioning of the fight/flight/shame response, and probably related to the fire alarm I have mentioned repeatedly that Bessel van der Kolk talks about in “The Body keeps the Score”.

So it is not unreasonable to see chronic depression as another manifestation of chronic anger and chronic fear–a three face Janus– which is to say, as another manifestation of unresolved trauma.

The idea of Mass Formation, which in my awareness is uniquely related to Mattias Desmet, although of course he cited earlier sociologists like Gustav Le Bon, works PARTLY to explain what was made of this COVID pandemic.

The disease of course was and is real, and it most likely emerged from work funded by and PUSHED by the US NIH, most likely in cooperation with the Chinese POA (People’s Oppression Army), and which I personally think was RELEASED consciously by the  Chinese in February and March of 2020.  I have shared the story I heard of  a man who shared  flight with a Chinese man seemingly only there to be sick in public; and another of a Chinese woman also seemingly there to be sick in public, which are two stories told me first hand.

But as Desmet points out, ALL OF THE MODELS WERE WRONG, AND KNOWN TO BE WRONG NEARLY FROM THE BEGINNING.

Frances Collins–fuck that piece of shit, and when he dies I will piss on his grave if I can get away with it–said that if we had not done these lockdowns many more people would have died.  This, DESPITE THE CONTRARY EVIDENCE OF SWEDEN.

Sweden was the control group for these global policies.  And Sweden showed CONCLUSIVELY that all this was bullshit.  MORE PEOPLE DIED, BY A LARGE AMOUNT, BECAUSE OF THE POLICIES FAUCI AND COLLINS AND REDFIELD PUSHED.

And this is just over the past two years.  We cannot yet factor in honestly the deaths from the “vaccines”, both immediate, and near and long term from induced autoimmune disorders, growth disorders in children, heart disease, strokes, blood disorders, cancer and other things.

Nor can we factor in deaths from suicides and drug overdoses that will happen five years from now due to lost life NOW.

Nor do we know–although good statistical guesses can be made–how many more people will die from what would have been treatable conditions like cancer and heart disease, but for which they received no treatment because they were scared to go to the hospital, or worse, because the HOSPITAL WOULD NOT SEE THEM, because it was waiting on a wave of COVID patients who never appeared, and FOR WHICH THEY HAD NO FUCKING TREATMENTS ANYWAY.

Jesus Christ is this a massive global clusterfuck.  It’s literally of global proportions.  This is the largest crime in human history, and I think it’s getting close to me being able to include even the World Wars in this, although we may not quite be there yet.  I need to see starvation numbers from the developing world.  We may have given them enough food to keep most of those deaths from disrupting too severely, for now. the Dominant Narrative.

But here is my point.  I get there eventually, after exhausting all other options: this was a centrally coordinated crime, but the notion of Mass Formation gives the criminals a way out.

You cannot get this many people this wrong without central planning.  If every clock is wrong in exactly the same way, they were set that way.  This point, to my mind, is indisputable.

But that many people fell sway to the cult I have not infrequently called Branch Covidianism is also indisputable.  These are the mask and vaccine Nazis.  The school administrators throwing bombs at their children by calling masks “necessary” while wallowing in their virtue and putative “caring” (this is in fact a good example of what I discussed at the top of all this).

I don’t know how we get out of all this, how we push back to the extent the situation warrants against people like Bill Gates and George Soros and presumably the Rockefellers and Rothschild’s, and the other owners of Vanguard and Black Rock and State Street.

But I will always default to the belief that truth is the logical first step.  Should I always speak the truth?  Not all of it.  Politically, though, should I always speak the full truth as I see it?  Yes, I think the answer to that question is yes.

We can’t know what their vulnerabilities are.  We can’t know what they fear.  We can’t know what is possible for us.  You have to do what you can where you are and keep at it until you are dead or in jail or the cause has been rendered for some time hopeless.  It is never permanently hopeless, but it may be for the rest of some of our lives.

But persistence is the name of every game.  What I can’t do in this life, I will do in the next.  And who knows?  Maybe some of these people are themselves tiring of their own games.

I read the book Neuromancer a month or two ago.  I was struck by the ennui of the rich family controlling the AI in that book.  The patriarch was interrupted in the act of killing himself.

Do you not think some of these Rockefellers and Rothschilds are like that?  Their lives meaningless and empty?

I think much of this political shit comes from their own felt need for true relevance, for “doing good”.

But they are stupid.  They understand nothing about the world or what it needs.  They live on a high plateau where their connections are books and abstractions.  That is how mass murder comes to seem a logical and even ethical “solution” (as in Endloesung) to the problems of human overpopulation and environmental degradation.  And perhaps some of them are even stupid enough to believe in Anthropogenic Global Warming.  Bill Gates, for example, may truly be that idiotic.  That would make him a tool for the actually clever ones, at least if we equate clever with devious and at least scientifically literate.

Everything I write is an alternative to this mess.  I am proposing, more or less as a fountain, new possibilities, or at least new possibilities to me.

I don’t honestly know if this blog is linked to my Goodness Movement website, but since I haven’t mentioned it in a minute, here is a link to a piece I wrote on the The Future perhaps ten years ago:
