But the people who are dying at all ages are people with chronic healthy problems, and it seems safe to suppose it is more or less ONLY those with health problems who are dying at ages younger than 65-70 or so. They are Vitamin D deficient, have substantial inflammation, and usually 2-3 other health complaints, like diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure.
If we selected the people who got injected with the virus, we could pick the healthy ones. We could screen everyone.
And I continue to believe that if the virus were injected rather than inhaled, the mortality rate would be much lower still. I’m not expert, but the experts don’t seem to be experts either. It’s fucking amateur hour all around, so I belong on that stage too.
I really, truly think we could use variolation [note: I looked it up, and this term mainly or exclusively applies to smallpox, but I am resurrecting it for COVID. Sometimes new problems demand old solutions] as a vaccination method NOW, and that it would both be more efficacious than any vaccine which might come down the pike eventually, and much, much, much more safe. You could simply infect people, wait a day, draw blood, then it might be as simple as injecting the infected blood into someone else, after checking for other illnesses.
I really think it would be safer than the ordinary vaccinations that we routinely give to children. And in any event we could make it voluntary, and an available alternative to a vaccine, if one ever comes that doesn’t kill every other person it touches.
And BTW I found this digging around for numbers: https://www.who.int/vaccine_safety/initiative/tools/vaccinfosheets/en/
It lists a variety of vaccines and the safety rates that the WHO is willing to report. I found it interesting that 1 in every 2-3,000 measles vaccine injections results in “febrile seizures”. I don’t think I need a medical degree to say that some percentage of those result in permanent complications. Many are listed at 1 in 10 to the sixth, which is a million.
Encephalomyelitis, for example, is a one in a million event. But if you give 10 million injections, you get ten kids who are really messed up. Permanent brain damage or autism is well within the range of possibilities.
According to the CDC 3.7 million kids, or thereabouts, are born each year. If they all get the MMR, which they are supposed to, then the M alone could generate 3-4 cases of brain damage. Add all the rest of it up, and you have thousands of cases of sickness and perhaps up to a couple dozen cases of permanent physical damage.
Anyone who says vaccines are completely safe would do well to read the WHO website. And I’m treating these numbers as accurate. My gut tells me that is unwise.
