It occurs to me to comment that on the best possible reading, voter fraud is used by elites who think they know more than the people what is good for the people. The people might vote one way, for one kind of policy, but their views are overruled, their votes negated, and alternative policies chosen instead by elites implemented, all without the knowledge of most of them.
The alternative and more realistic and common reading–I have suggested Justice Sotomayor as a possible advocate of the preceding–is the Joe Biden approach: money and power. If you are a cheater and a liar, you have to cheat and lie to keep getting elected. And getting elected PAYS. You make money. You get all sorts of favors and privileges. You get weird sex–pedophila, sadism–that leaves no money trail.
It is quite late in American history to deal honestly with voter fraud. I think many of the countries that had admired us must be aghast at how awful our system is, how easy fraud appears to be, and implicitly how common it must have been over the years. It is literally possible that Hillary only lost because James O’Keefe’s undercover work caused her to feel the need to fire that year’s Dirty Tricks team. As I’ve mentioned on multiple occasions, one tweeted “now you’ve lost the election”. It may not have been hyperbole.
Based on last nights experiences that I won’t go into, I think I may have touched a nerve somewhere yesterday. Good!!!!
We are only on this planet for a short time, and the best experiences are reserved for those who are honest, try to do right by the world, and who try and face trouble and difficulty directly and bravely. Everything else is derivative and decayed. It has a bright face and an ugly belly. I seem to be built to stand my ground in the face of overwhelming odds, insuperable difficulties, and unimaginable terror.
