Vitamin D

I think I have allowed five minutes to pass without mentioning Vitamin D, and am want to correct that error.

In all seriousness, I am a bit of a monomaniac about this for two reasons: 1) it is a large problem; and 2) IT IS EASILY CORRECTED.

As I mentioned a couple weeks ago, 42% of all Americans are D deficient, at least part of the year, and a staggering 82% of African Americans.  Vitamin D does so many things, and lacking it is is a virtual guarantee of a shorter, less good life.

It is relevant to COVID: https://c19vitamind.com/

56% improvement (I am not sure how they define “improvement”, but it seems to be a meta-analytical term in reference to whatever the metric was, whether mortality, risk of intubation (de facto murder), or hospitalization) in sufficiency studies, and keep in mind that was among diagnosed cases, or so I assume.  I don’t know how they would or could study invisible cases.  Many, many of the invisible cases may well happen among the Vitamin D sufficient, who fight this not dangerous illness off easily.

Low Vitamin D levels seem to be related to a host of problems, including increased risk of infectious illness generally, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, weak bones, and premature death across the board.

Here is my point: no one is arguing that people should take TOO much.  But

1) 4,000 iu daily seems to be GRAS–Generally Regarded as Safe–for everyone.  It is obviously vastly safer in that dose than the spike protein injections.

2) A high percentage of us are deficient, particularly in the black community, where it could well be called a pandemic of malnutrition.

3) This Vitamin is really cheap.  Here is actually a version that has everything but Quercetin in it: 60 days for $23.  If you still feel fear, take two of those daily with half a gram of Quercetin.

Here is D3 by itself: $14 for a 175 day (six months roughly) supply if you take 4,000 iu.  A years supply if you only take 2,000, which would still be a HUGE improvement for most folks, and in my own non-medical but intelligent view, ALL black folks should take at least 4,000 iu year round, for the rest of their lives.  Vitamin D deficiency ALONE could probably account for many of the differential health outcomes.

4) Vitamin D seems to help with COVID.  Given the global insanity, what do we have to lose?  There IS NO DOWNSIDE, that I can see.  There are many downsides to the spike protein injections, and yet they are being pushed daily from the White House on down.

5) WE SHOULD EDUCATED PEOPLE ABOUT THIS.  Imagine if, over the past year, one quarter the time was spent encouraging people to take Vitamin D (and Zinc, which I have not talked about here) that was spent pushing this mask idiocy, the lockdown/social distancing idiocy, and then the “vaccine” idiocy.

This whole thing is an unconscionable crime for which no honest moral basis can be adduced, even if one were to claim error.  There is no error.  None of this is mistaken.  They know what they are doing.

As I have not stopped saying for some time, and will never stop saying, even when this is all behind us: this whole fucking thing is pure madness.  It is to science and reason roughly what the Medieval Church was when it was burning supposed witches, which is to say women it feared for some reason or other.

Pick your conspiracy, and include following the money.  I would suggest to then follow the power.  Do both, and you get an ugly picture: a landscape strewn with the bodies of those who died needlessly, children crying, single mothers slitting their wrists or going insane, people shooting the last dose of fentanyl, hundreds of millions of people’s bellies bloated with hunger, and dying of other diseases.  This is literally on the scale with a global war crime.

In the interests of quieting my OCD, I will append the comment that if you do decide to supplement D daily indefinitely, as I do, then please add 300 mg Magnesium.  In my understanding, if the ratio of D/Magnesium gets too far off, it can create issues with calcium metabolization.  You need Magnesium too, though, so this is hardly a problem.

But in my unprofessional opinion based on common sense and gut instinct, you can do without the magnesium for six months or a year with no problem, if that is an added hassle.  Take the D, and keep yourself well.
