Remember famous predictions of failure in Iraq?
Remember that most Democrats voted for the war in Iraq?
Remember the urgency with which the “Stimulus” was passed?
Remember the claims of accountability and transparency?
It is a function of propaganda to pretend that the past does not exist, that past statements don’t matter. And in a world with a complicit media, Obama can get away with it.
But not everyone is complicit. These people can raise their game.
For me, my GOD, what haven’t I said? What cognitive pathway that matters have I not explored? And in most cases, if I study carefully, somebody else said it better than me 50 years ago. None of the issues are really in play INTELLECTUALLY. The problems that continue to exist, continue because of emotions that will not be swayed by reason–until, at least, genuine misery is at the door.

It's not just the media that's complicit. There are millions of self-selected useful idiots plugging away out there, trying their hardest (and in some measure, succeeding) to wear the rest of us down with their ceaseless lies.
In an online discussion the other day, I had one of them tell me that states had no right to oppose Obamacare and the NDAA (and why supposed "liberals" are backing that one is WAY beyond me) because of the Supremacy Clause in the constitution; and yet in the very next breath blow off any concerns that Obamacare or NDAA are themselves unconstitutional. How does one even deal with that kind of lying and deceit? At the very least, it's self-delusion; at the worst, it is self-selected scapegoats knowingly leading the rest of the herd to slaughter.
I applaud you for fighting the fight; I read your thoughts because they make cohesive sense in this increasingly fractured and bizarre world. But the realization, borne from this last election, that the shape-shifting monster is actually *winning*, has almost brought me to my knees.
At this moment, I cannot think of anything that can possibly stop the eventual (although I think it's coming sooner than later) enslavement of the human race. Where's our Churchill for this very different war?
*sorry, Judas goat not scapegoat; typing without proofreading will get you there 😉
I wouldn't despair just yet. There are a hundred million people like you in this country, easily. We still have a Constitution that has defenders, and decent people control the House, and have a strong presence in the Senate.
For my part, I just reserved the domain goodnessinstitute.org, and plan to begin the process of setting up a non-profit with the following goals:
1) Research and develop a plan similar to the Chicago Plan, which will save our economy when we are forced to the brink of bankruptcy.
2) Found a Church based upon the concept of Goodness, and the practices of Holotropic Breathwork, Kum Nye meditation, CrossFit style exercise, and autogenic training. The intent is to provide physical locations around the country and world where people who are lost can find themselves. It is to pursue the creed of Individualism to the logical end of generalized personal psychological empowerment and following effectiveness.
3) Research and develop enhanced means of Intrumental Transcommunication, as a way of validating the "survival of death" theory further, in an empirically repeatable way.
4) Research and develop means first of validating the biophotonic hypothesis/field theory of biological organization, and using that research in practical ways, including curing cancer, which I hypothesize is constituted by a disruption in field communication. This will also invalidate mechanical, unintelligent understandings of the genesis of and nature of life.
It's a series of big projects, but what the hell? I may fail, but will fail having tried something big.
Sometimes when you are feeling bad, if you pay attention the simplest things will make you feel better. Eat a good orange mindfully. Take a walk on a nice day.
Take heart: there is light everywhere you look, and someday you will see it.
