 I was thinking about William Casey’s supposed comment, and would amend it: they will know they are successful when most of what a large segment of the population believes is patent bullshit.

Look at the news.  Look at the absolute and truly inexcusable imbecilities being uttered by educated people, even and perhaps particularly by college professors and administrators.

Get rid of the police.

Joe Biden is a good candidate.

Donald Trump is to blame for the assaults being waged on him.

In 1984, the control was 100%.  In our world, you CAN get a reasonable facsimile of honest news, if you look for it, and you can deduce obvious facts even from what is provided  by all the news outlets.

But the mockingbird media has ADDICTED people to idiocy, to War is Peace as an honest, morally superior position they can rest their intellectual and ethical hats on.

It’s as astonishing and jaw dropping as, I suppose, fascinating in its own way.  Problem is, I have to live in the world these people are doing their level best to ruin.  So do my kids.  So do your kids.

 I wonder if a Constitutional case could be made against mail-in balloting based on the 14th Amendment. My argument would consist in the observation that a fraudulent ballot effectively cancels my own vote, depriving me of my Constitutionally guaranteed right to be represented through participating in the electoral process.

Mail-in ballots do not require proof of identity, and thus voter fraud becomes vastly easier.  Dead people who have intentionally not been erased from the voter rolls–which Democrats refused to allow Pence to audit in the aftermath of the 2016 election–and people who don’t normally vote can have ballots filled out in their names, by Democrats who have spent the past four years building lists of names. In States like California which actively facilitate cheating by not really trying to keep accurate, valid lists of names, people not even in this country legally can vote, and also invalidate the votes of the rest of us who ARE here legally, and for whose benefit the system exists.

The same argument could be made for voting without Voter ID, which is universal the world over.  The poorest Indians, who live in ramshackle huts, with dirt floors and no plumbing, are required to have ID.

And reading the 14th Amendment, it provides that the “basis of representation” be reduced in States where voter disenfranchisement is perpetrated.  Could States where the Attorney General or equivalent fails to properly prevent fraud (California) be punished by having their number of Representatives to the House reduced?  I think the law could certainly be read that way.  The system as a whole depends on the honesty of the parts, and successful fraud tends to become self perpetuating, since it acts to ensure its own continuance by making sure people supporting the fraud continue to win unfair elections whose on-going continuation they make a matter of semi-official policy.  Think Tammany Hall on a State or even national level.  Graft for graft, never prosecuted because the criminals run the police too.

Imagine a situation where California had a quarter of their Representatives culled from the House for 2 or 4 years.  It would be beautiful.  And this threat, on the table, might help.

My gut instinct is that the Democrats have a threshold above which cheating is riskier than chancing a fair outcome.  My gut tells me they can swing about 5 million illegal votes nationally, which is a lot.  If Trump wins by more than that–which is quite possible, given how horrifically the Democrats have been treating the American people and how insulting Joe Biden is to the intelligence of Americans as a non-viable candidate who should never have been put forth for the office of President of the United States–then the election chaos the Democrats plan will be obvious to all as a farce, a gross insult, and a de facto insurrection and attempted coup, with following legal consequences, which I would hope would include arrests and prosecutions of its ring leaders.

Please continue to pray for this nation, and indeed the future of humankind.  This time is pregnant with both large risk and enormous potential for good.

 I continue to wonder why Switzerland, which is generally recognized as having had the most successful response to COVID, is something no one is discussing.

Even granting that the CIA controls much of our media, is it 100%?

Two facts for you to consider:

The Swiss educate many of the world elite.  Bill Gates most likely sent his kids to school in Switzerland.  Same with Jeff Zuckerberg.  

Switzerland is also home to the Bank for International Settlements, which I don’t think I really understand.  Like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, it seems to be an institution created by and for an elite whose full scope of operations is kept hidden from the public in plain sight.  We know where it is, and no doubt one could watch men and women in suits with briefcases and laptops walking in and out every day, but remain unclear what happens when they get in their offices and sit down in front of their computers.

Keep in mind the background to all of this is that an unelected, unaccountable elite has the power to create infinite amounts of money merely by typing at magic keyboards.  Their only limits are their cupidity and their countervailing desire to keep the system going by not getting too greedy and causing people to ask questions.  Does the BIS play a role in our own money supply?  I don’t know.

But I lived in Switzerland in my teens.  They are intelligent, serious, humble people.  Their role in all this may be as the refuge for the power elite when the rest of the world is brought crashing down.  They won’t hide in bunkers.  They will hide in chalets and go skiing and hiking daily.

We live in a world curated by liars.  In conspiracy circles, there is a famous quote a CIA Director–I believe it is usually attributed to William Casey–saying something to the effect that “we will know we are successful when everything people believe is a lie.”

I think the  Church hearings revealed the Operation Mockingbird–an effort by the CIA to sculpt and curate the “news” in this nation, illegally–was a real thing.  Given that those hearings barely scratched the surface, and seemingly generated a bunch of “sure, buddy, we’ll fix it, don’t worry about it”‘s as a response, why would these operations not still be going on?

Absent a compelling background and driving narrative, sanity would break through vastly more than it does.  Tucker Carlson is one of the only guys who really seems to get the scale and scope of the lies being told, and how destructive they are to our moral, social, spiritual, psychological and economic well being.  

As I keep saying, in the same respect that one can infer the presence of an invisible object by how it exerts gravity on objects around it–say a black hole, or whatever the object is that seems to be outside our solar system–one can reliably infer the presence of an informational black hole, or invisible influencer by watching the news.  Some sort of conspiracy theory is needed to explain our news, some sort of larger plan and covert cabal.  That they want power is a reasonable assumption, and that they oppose freedom is likewise a reasonable assumption.  Beyond that, little.  Leftism and war and carefully and intentionally sown political division as means, that also is reasonably obvious.

 I think this period of time could be called “Operation How Fucking Stupid are the People of the World?”

The answer remains to be determined, but if my neck of the woods is any indicator, very.  Very, very.  Masks alone in cars.  Masks walking alone in parks, and to and from cars.

Joe Biden remains viable, it seems.  How?  How is that possible?  

This whole thing makes a few core observations quite reasonable.

1) There IS a shadow elite.

2) They DO want to control the world.

3) They recognize no moral boundaries, and no amount of pain and suffering is the least barrier to any course of action they determine to be in their interest.

4) Anthony Fauci and the WHO are in cahoots with them, as are at least Bill Gates, the Chinese (to some extent or other), and much of our media complex and Hollywood.

5) Donald Trump is an existential threat to them, and they are pulling out all the stops to prevent his reelection, knowing that they can’t easily undo all the damage they are doing by making their existence and agenda nearly public.

Are we sane?  I don’t know.  I really don’t know.  It’s been so long since most of what I saw on the  news made sense to me that I find it hard to imagine a world not run by idiots, assholes, and psychopaths.

War is not an independent phenomenon, but the continuation of politics by different means.

 It occurs to me that literally and figuratively virtual communities serve much the same role, socially, that things like the Lion’s Club, and Rotary, and the Masons, and Fraternal Order of Eagle’s, and bowling and softball leagues did for the previous several generations.

But virtual is a step back.  There is no physical presence.  You can’t smell people.  You can’t touch them.  And such communities can be easily “curated” and watched, controlled and manipulated.  It’s not the same thing at all, and it would not be hard to argue that part of the longer term purpose of this induced panic over a not-very-dangerous disease is to push our young, especially, away from each other, and towards on-line and inferior ersatz communities–Gesellschafts, if I might reference de Tonnies–which the State can watch, and which work in tandem to push them farther from their own individual consciences, individual perceptions, and individual moral choices.

Conform or be cast out.

I will add, Rush is not that deep, except for a rock band.  There, they stand nearly alone.

I myself certainly was and continue to be a misfit.  When I look back on my life, though, on my death bed, it will have been spent trying to be honest, to take risks, to face my shadow, and to grow to the best of my ability.  What other people do with their lives is their business, but that is my choice.

 I can hear in my mind’s eye young folks, particularly, saying “but being a Democrat  is the only way I can belong”.

The Communist tactic is to destroy what somebody called “intermediate institutions”, of family, of community, of church, of social organization, and create a situation where they are the only rallying point, the only commonality, the only community, the only social resource, the only game in town for tribalistic descendants (perhaps) of primates.

Where can you go, out in that hot sun, alone?  Especially if you are not that clever, not particularly individuated, not mature, not sure of yourself?  Nowhere.  

AND THAT IS THE GOAL.

Logically, and I think I saw this without seeing it, the way to reverse all this is to rebuild intermediate institutions, places people can belong, can learn to be themselves, to inhabit their own lives, without guilt or shame or judgement.

This is and has been my plan.  It works intellectually, but I am not yet the person I need to be to pull it off practically.

 The longer these ridiculous lockdowns–which by the way seem to WORSEN the death counts, not reduce them–the more angry and petty and vindictive and mean most people will get.  Husbands will abuse their wives; wives, their husbands.  Parents children, children parents.

The Democrats have allied themselves with every form of meanness imaginable.

And I was pondering this yesterday.  It literally seems to me that for a good 30-40 years most big city politicians, at least, seem to have been lying to the people they were asking to vote for them.  They told inner city blacks, particularly, that they would take care of them, but never took care of them.  Every election, the same lies.

Consider what sort of person is CAPABLE of doing such a thing, which involves hurting people for very selfish reasons of money and power.  The allure of being the Top Dog is not hard to understand, nor is the enticement of all the money–licit and illicit–that comes from time in office.  Most politicians of both parties quickly get rich in Congress.  Bribes are illegal, but grossly overpaid speeches are not.  Maybe they become board members of various corporations.  Maybe they use their inside knowledge to get ahead of outside investors, and normally get away with it.  

But all this depends, particularly for the Democrats, on lies.  On the willingness to hurt ordinary people for purely personal gain.  It really is a sort of gangsterism, and anyone who knows anything about REAL gangsters knows there is no honor among thieves.  It’s Jimmy the Gent murdering his partners for money.

 Love is the lubricant that keeps our perceptual apparatus functional.  In its absence, everything freezes eventually and we get “stuck in a moment”, to use a phrase from U2 that I like.

The love of others is good, but in the end the only thing you can rely on is the love you learn to bring consciously to yourself.

I have on my wall some famous Tibetan mystic.  I think it is Padmasambhava.  I really should know, but I don’t recall.  But he has within his heart a man and a woman copulating.  What I take this to mean is that we need to learn to carry within us the capacity for that sense of connection we associate with romantic love, and the completion of our sexual energy, without a partner.  What we need is the completeness we feel with someone we love deeply, but that feeling without the need for that person.

Imagine being able to get to that point, without the manias we see portrayed and mocked and emulated so often in our movies, where people are desperate to find the right person, their “soul mate”.  This seems to happen on occasion, but not for most people, not in most lifetimes.

Introjecting and expanding this energy is how so many Tibetans, back in the day, lived lifetimes of solitude, happily, I will surmise.  They were not suffering, and for most of them it was not much of a renunciation, at least the way Alexandra David Neel perceived it and told it.

 It feels to me like anyone who grew up with narcissistic parents already knows what it feels like to live in a Panopticon.  Your boundaries are shredded to the point of non-existence, and your most intimate emotional states, even if you learn to succeed in hiding them, as I did, still feel open to the world.  You spend your life feeling naked, even when you are not.

And of course, unexamined, this sense of nakedness easily shades itself into a repetition of the narcissism.  Narcissism is not about an over-abundance of self.  It is about a LACK of self.  There is a hole in the middle, which is why that person tried and fails across a lifetime to fill it with attention.

The Panopticon–standing broadly here for the totalitarian temperament and emotional gestalt–represents a demand made by people who don’t exist that attention be paid to them.  The best way to do this is to make themselves omnipresent, unignorable, and a severe and present factor in every element of their chosen victims life.  

And self evidently, gaslighting is an important part of this.  What greater victory than taking from someone their very capacity for sanity?  That now belongs to you.

And to be clear, most of this happens below the level of conscious awareness.  It is papered over with frauds of various sorts, and words like justice, compassion, empathy, decency, and fairness.

If the future is my past, then I have already seen it.  I have already felt it.  It is an inhuman spectacle, whose emotional violence should chill the hearts of all humans still capable of honest emotion.

This year, the choice is ruin and faith; destruction and reconstruction; evil and humanism.  It could not be more stark.

I don’t know, even now, why so many millions of people around the world are so fucking stupid.  That deep, deep fear underlies it, though, is obvious.
