I would submit that impatience is little but anxiety in a time-contextualized situation.  If anxiety is fear of something not present, then impatience is fear of being late, or being irrelevant–ultimately, of embarrassment in some form.

Sufficient fear brings out the guard dog of anger.

Is this true?  Not true?  I’m not sure.  I often question myself in my own notes, and will do so here.

The person I would most want to talk with in the Adam Lanza case is the shrink.  There has to have been one.  What did he say to Adam?  What did they discuss? What meds was he on or not on?  If he was on meds, can we begin to ask if such meds make things worse or better?  Prozac, as an example, seems to make people MORE violent, if memory serves.

Things like this that are just too convenient–here, to distract attention from potentially huge Benghaze revelations, and/or the Administrations stone-walling, combined with useful support for another try for our guns–always bring out the conspiracy theorists.  Me, I try to remain neutral.  I’ll listen to them, then form my own opinion.

In my view, the assassinations of both JFK and MLK, Jr. happened the way we were told.  JFK was shot by a Communist angry with his pro-freedom stances around the world backed with military force (except in the Bay of Pigs case), and MLK by a racist.  Bobbie Kennedy, though, I think somebody got away with a planned hit, and the wrong person got blamed.

In any event, if someone got shot, and its a day ending in Y, some people will claim brainwashing.  I keep an open mind on this.  I have no evidence either way, other than a conversation I once had with a guy in a bar who claimed to have a friend in the CIA, and that they have developed rooms of weird shapes and textures, and that are uneven, and that mess with people’s minds.  Don’t know if it is true or not.  I did watch and make a mental note about “The Parallax View” some years ago.

It will be interesting to find out anything we can on his psychology.

Could our unnamed whistleblower on Benghazi be Israeli intelligence?  It is impossible to imagine that in streets filled with spooks, that Mossad would be absent.

Be that as it may, we need to chase this thing down hard.  There are many nations in the Middle East that can still be targeted.  If Syria goes, all that remains is Jordan to have enemies of Israel on all sides again, as was the case in 1948, and long periods thereafter.

One has to ask, too: why was Petraeus cooperating in this plan, if he was?  Where are the loyal patriots capable of doing basic math, and coming up with negative numbers where American security is concerned?

Why is it that many of our soldiers are willing to risk death on a battlefield, but not prison for telling needed truths?

Dragons protect treasure.  I would suggest that symbolically an internal wealth of emotional freedom likewise involves facing fears.  Emotional death is the result of a thousand small cuts, or a few large one; resurrection is inflicting a thousand small cuts on your fears, or a few large ones.

An ineluctable feature of our economic landscape, characterized as it is by what I have termed “monetary mercantilism”, is that wealth will grow increasingly concentrated.  This means that the rest of us will have to fight harder for the scraps.  This makes people mean, cynical, scheming, dishonest, and emotionally cold and violent.  Leftists then look at this outcome, and condemn free markets, when it is precisely the LACK of free markets–true capitalism–in the banking sector that got us here.

We see this theme of fighting to be top dog constantly in American culture.  Think Highlander, or Survivor, or American Idol.  The Hunger Games is simply a logical extension of this dynamic, applied to literal survival.

I had heard Obama displayed an emotion other than anger and condescension in response to the shootings.  It would actually gratify me to learn he was capable of empathy, but watching the video, my opinion is that he feels nothing, and is a second rate actor.

His true personal history is a mystery to us, and may remain so forever, but my best guess is that his mother was a narcissist, who likely gave him little nurturing after he was born.  According to our best understandings, she left Hawaii nearly immediately after he was born, which meant that she also left behind access to her mother and father as care-givers, and dedicated herself to school without a husband.  She may have had a boyfriend–who knows?–but Barry Soetero seems to have been an angry man.  Later, she abandoned him entirely, to let her parents raise him while she returned to Indonesia to pursue things that actually interested her.

From age 10 or so on his ersatz–and in my view likely real–father was Frank Marshall Davis, who I feel was likely a sociopath. Knowing what was in his book Sex Rebel: Black, and the fact that he was a Communist LONG after it was known that this meant condoning mass murder, this seems a likely conclusion.

Examine that emotional history, and where do you find anything that would build useful compassion?  He seems to have viewed his maternal grandmother with contempt, and his grandfather seems to have been little better than Davis.  They were in any event friends. 

As I have said, leftism acts as the conscience of psychopaths, and that is the path Obama has followed his entire life.  He seems to be supporting Muslim tyrants intent on oppressing Jews, and has all but abandoned Israel.  He refuses to speak with Netanyahu.

There is no way to know what is behind that cold facade, but I don’t see anything good.  This is why his emotion was such big news: everyone knows on some level that he is little but cold calculation.

I don’t know what the current state of the law is, but  Congress needs to either enact or force compliance with an act that prevents the prosecution of whistle blowers who are reporting on the activities of the Executive Branch.  Obama has enforced more aggressively than any recent President laws prohibiting the release of information.  As one example, he apparently forced all military AND civilian employees involved with the Defense Dept. to sign gag orders prohibiting them from talking about pending Defense cuts.  We still don’t know what they are.

If we do solve the riddle of Benghazi, it may ONLY be because somebody spoke to the Canadian Free Press, presumably at a risk of being imprisoned and silenced if caught.

But if Obama is doing illegal things, and then blackmailing with the threat more or less of political imprisonment anyone who might report on them, he is ALREADY acting as a de facto dictator, and that is categorically NOT how our system is supposed to work.

As an example, anyone wanting to present classified information can do so with Congress in closed door meetings.  Further, Congress in turn has a RIGHT to let the public know about things that it needs to know.  I don’t know who controls the classification process, but it seems obvious to me that is some sort of Congressional quorum or body sees fit to release information that the Executive wants to keep secret for purely political reasons, it should be able to do so.

Again, I don’t know current law, but that would be a rational system.  Issues of national security–and an attempt to install the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria would certainly qualify–CATEGORICALLY do not fall under Executive Privilege.

As far as that goes, why not subpoena Obama to testify on Fast and Furious?  We need to start making this arrogant bastard sweat.

Why not hold a hearing on why Iranian born Valerie Jarrett, who has no security clearance, is attending National Security meetings, and negotiating with the Iranians?

And as far as that issue goes, just when does Obama plan to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu.  I would think after his Letterman and Leno appearances, handing out candy to kids, and golfing in Hawaii he might have some spare time now.

We have all seen pictures of people starving around the world.  What I would submit is that if our inner lives were reflected in our physical bodies, many modern Americans and others would be similarly gaunt.  What just happened in Newtown: that was a final act of starvation.

I will add, that the soundtrack for that shooting might well be this one.

This song is played in virtually every major market at least once a day.  Listen–really LISTEN–to the rhythm, the tonality, the chords.  Everything in this song, lyrically and musically, screams anger, pain, and self condemnation and futility.  And many people thrive on this music.  Top two comments:
